Danish candy has changed so much. A lot of it I don't know and when I try it, I don't really like it. I guess that is the fate of an old woman.when I was young, Danish candy was really tasteful, and especially the licorice was the most wonderful. Not very Danish at all. But there you are, things change. (Btw I also miss the old type of ryebread - not candy, I know - but that has dissapeared too 😢) But you are young, so you might like today's tastes 😅❤
Tak skal du have: Directly translated to: "Thank shall you have" or "Thank you shall have" or "You shall have thanks". Or litterly you can just say TAK. I also like when the American failing pronound: Kims Kanonkugler, and the German just got it right at first try, Yes, German and Danish are simular. How sad, no liquorice, that is plain wrong, most You Tubers LOVE Danish liquorice (NOT) Make turtle soup out of the last two turtles (equal parts heavy whipping cream and turtles, gently heated in a small pot) pour over ice cream. Funny that another Jesper sent you that package.
The guy who sent this must be a Marcipan/milk chocolate freak, because there are so much more and better.. also why send the worst bag of Gummies and assorted sweets we have? Great video though.
If you live in Germany it's short distance to Danmark. Not far and you should go there in the spring and summer. København, Fyn, Grenå and Bornholm and many more
Skildpadder means turtles, and they are a classic snake, but don't contain any actual turtles. Also there used to always be 4 in a package, damn shrinkflation. It is sad that they don't have Kim's Tomatskruer, while Kanonkuglerne is good, nothing beats the Tomatskruer
Anthon Berg is the Rolls Royce of Danish chocolate. It's the brand you buy, if you want to give away a very nice box of chocolate. But I've never been a fan of those marzipan bars. They are also pretty cheap, compared to what they usually make.
in the christmas time you can get some candy that is, chocolate on the outside, then tere is a layer of suger, and then some alcohol stuff inside (liquid). So the point is you put it in your mouth then you melt the chocolate in your mouth and the you melt the suger enough so the alcohol will get out

The Tom's penguin sticks that are brown with a hard shell and darker brown stripes across are a "Larvae" design. So like the turtle concept but much smaller.
I’m glad UA-cam is calorie free. I’d be 400lbs
😂👌 Me too!
Bevor ich das Video schaue: bestimmt ist da eine Menge Lakritzkram dabei sowie diese Schoko-Schildkröten mit Karamellfüllung.
vielleicht...
Im from Denmark and i coulden stop laughing when you Tried to read in danish
Lol i love how it says 4 turtles but theres 3 and, its not actual alchohol so totally kid friendly “Toms” is very popular❤️❤️
my ex worked at toms factory just down the road they could eat the whole production line for free. real story :D
@@goyzrus8830 What oh my god im jealous!!
many look good. I prefer chocolate over crisps
😍👌
The danish idé of nougat is something that taste a bit like nutella. Our nougat is made out of nut cream. The white chewy foamy nougat we refer to as french nougat.
Nougat snitter are chrismas candy im coming from denmark
Yes, jul was a dead giveaway. Yule is basically the same word. Some of these words are so easy to compare them to german and dutch. I understood everything.
Sometimes danish is just so funny 😊
Like the saying "it's blowing half a pelican" 🌬 if it's windy outside... oddly specific 😂
Hmm. Should I send some slovenian candy?
Yes. Please. 😀
Danish candy has changed so much. A lot of it I don't know and when I try it, I don't really like it.
I guess that is the fate of an old woman.when I was young, Danish candy was really tasteful, and especially the licorice was the most wonderful. You can't even get it today 😢 and of course there was only salty licorice. The first time I tried sweet licorice was on a trip to England (badvr 😂), and they also had sweet popcorn. Not very Danish at all.
But there you are, things change. (Btw I also miss the old type of ryebread - not candy, I know - but that has dissapeared too 😢)
But you are young, so you might like today's tastes 😅❤
Bruh the turtles only have like 0,5% of weight as alchohol
But they have a very strong rum flavour anyway so I don’t really see how that’s relevant
Tak skal du have: Directly translated to: "Thank shall you have" or "Thank you shall have"
or "You shall have thanks". Or litterly you can just say TAK.
I also like when the American failing pronound: Kims Kanonkugler, and the German just
got it right at first try, Yes, German and Danish are simular. Despite, we Danes talk more simple, so we dont need to say the g,
so just "Kanonkuler". But in english, you pronouds the u way more otherwise, which sound weird.
Yet again amazing video, you two!
Im sorry but its too funny when youre trying to read danish. Mostly because im danish😂😂
@Fishy Vagina No, that's swedish ;)
Im from denmark🇩🇰
Også mig
YOOOO A DANiSH HERE
Here is the full translations of everything danish in the video :D (feel free to point out something i missed or any spelling mistakes :P)
0:28 "Tak" is translated to thanks
0:31 "Tak skal du have" Is translated to "Thank you very much" or "Thanks a lot" (a more formal way to say thanks)
0:52 "Skum med vaniljesmag med lys og mørk chokolade" means "Foam with vanilla taste with milk and dark chocolate"
1:35 "3 Kæmpe skildpadder" Which means "3 giant turtles"
2:02 "Chokolade med romcreme og karamel" This one is "Chocolate with Rum cream and caramel"
3:06 "Kims Kannonkugler" translates to "Kims cannonballs"
3:11 "Cheddarost" is just "Cheddar"
3:54 "Kims Ostepops" Translates to "Kims Cheesepops"
5:23 "Toms Mimoser" Mimoser ain't danish so can't help you there :P
5:27 "Ristet hasselnød med nougat og mørk chokolade" means "Roasted hazelnut with nougat and dark chocolate"
5:32 "Toms kringeler" ---> "Toms pretzels" (yall asked if this was "Fancy chocolates" i won't say yes because it isn't... but it ain't cheap either)
6:57 "Nougat Snitter" means "Nougat slices"
7:00 "Spangberg klassikere" translates to "Spansberg classics"
7:03 "Spangsberg ønsker glædelig jul med en rigtig juleklassiker" ---> "Spangsberg wishes a merry christmas with a real christmas classic"
7:07 "Du må godt!" is actually the catchphrase of the brand. it correctly translates to "You are allowed!" (Meaning you're allowed to eat the candy)
8:29 "Snebolde" -----> "Snowballs"
9:46 "Pingvin blanding" means "Penguin mixture"
9:50 "Vingummi og lækre stænger" ---> "gummies and yummy rods"
10:55 "Guld barre mælkechokolade" translates to "Goldbar milkchokolade"
11:09 "Åbn her" wasn't said in the video but this is how it would have been spelled on the packeging
11:45 "Nougat marzipan bar" I am not translating this one for you, it's practically already english
12:59 "Tak skal du have" again it's a formal way to say thanks
God that took so long O-O
How sad, no liquorice, that is plain wrong, most You Tubers LOVE Danish liquorice (NOT) Make turtle soup out of the last two turtles (equal parts heavy whipping cream and turtles, gently heated in a small pot) pour over ice cream. Funny that another Jesper sent you that package.
Whipping cream sounds painful ;-)
Q: Do you like choclate with alcohol inside?
A: Hell yes, mmm cherry liquor.
There is not alcohol in skildpadeder
Svar mig hvis i er danskere
Im coming from Denmark, it’s so fun to see people trying danish candy😂❤️
"Du må godt" heißt: "Du darfst es essen" ;)
The guy who sent this must be a Marcipan/milk chocolate freak, because there are so much more and better.. also why send the worst bag of Gummies and assorted sweets we have? Great video though.
If you live in Germany it's short distance to Danmark. Not far and you should go there in the spring and summer. København, Fyn, Grenå and Bornholm and many more
I am danish so i talk danish, and I tried it all. There is so far fun in denmark, and all in denmark Are super happy, always
You can see it on My name and videos i didnt Load Any GAMING videos but I talk danish
Im danish and mostly wathing to see how americans/english people reads and pronouncs. I hope you liked the snakcs
You´re right that the Nougat Snitter are quite nutty, because nougat is made with hazelnuts and marzipan is made with almonds :D
Anthon Berg is the Rolls Royce of Danish chocolate. It's the brand you buy, if you want to give away a very nice box of chocolate.
But I've never been a fan of those marzipan bars. They are also pretty cheap, compared to what they usually make.
Yea i live in denmark
4:30 i'd just like to say, that u can also get them with peanut.
Kims kanonkugle means Kims kanonballs (It was fun to hear u try to pronaunce the danish snacks) love from Denmark:)
it was funny seeing you taste danish food, thogh i do com from danmark so it was even more fun!!!
in the christmas time you can get some candy that is, chocolate on the outside, then tere is a layer of suger, and then some alcohol stuff inside (liquid). So the point is you put it in your mouth then you melt the chocolate in your mouth and the you melt the suger enough so the alcohol will get out
