- Not as smooth as I thought it would've went, that being said electromancy is stronger in AoE and this is not exactly the best case scenario for a pure electromancy build.
#stoneshard
The fact that you had to use gwynnels elixir just to survive this fight at level 30 tells us how bad electromagnet is/used to be.
for some unknown reason, you attracted some toxic kids and i find it funny lol
just ignore the replies and have fun playing/uploading
I have absolutely no idea either and yes, it's kind of funny how it happened back to back lmao.
In recent years i've unfortunately "witnessed" some of these single player games being more and more populated by sweaty individuals playing them and acting like we're playing the world cup or something. Beats me why. Multiplayer aren't enough I guess.
Very immature kids hahahahahaha
@@jim-bot those are the people who suck at multiplayer games but want to be good so they sweat in single player alpha indie games. And it is as pathetic as it sounds lol.
My advice - you need melee charge for this boss fight, it is first skill from staves called step aside. This way you can most certainly stop troll regen. And stay close to the troll, attack at the moment right before he uses shockwave. Otherwise he will throw boulders at you which you wouldn’t always be able to dodge. And if he retreats you could exploit that with ball lightning, it will stop him from retreating, like any damage, but he will most certainly throw a boulder at you. In that case I recommend just going up with him, if you applied good amount of resonance on him, he will most certainly not heal
Yes, you're right, I could've used step aside to save some turns. About the rest as I said in the other comments, I didn't want to do the usual thing of dancing at his feet.
> if you applied good amount of resonance on him, he will most certainly not heal
the fight was still very short turn wise if you skim the turns I used to heal or patch injury, get my staff, it's not like he lets you apply resonances for free, but sure.
Badass build brother
PSA: Leave enough inventory space to pick up your weapon. This allows you to move/dash in case he throws a boulder after you pick up your weapon
I thought pickup will spend ur turn?
@@head0fmob You need one turn to pick and one to equip it
Awesome video. Love to see the electromancy class in in its full potential.
How long did it take to reach lvl 30? My highest lvl character is 17 and it takes many dungeons to even now get close to lvl 18.
Do you use both blessing and vigor while farming the dungeons? Probably yes. At that level you should be able to quickly clear all the dungeons.
What I did extra was exploring the map quite a bit and there's a lot of random encounters at higher levels so you'll gain a lot automatically as long as you keep exploring. It's still a grind of course. I did a lot of distant dungeons too. I found 6 total on the map and fully clearing them gave a lot of exp.
good shit , dont mind the kids next time
Where did you get the globe ? Hella useful to get a buff like that once a day!
it's a random chest drop in distant dungeons
этот чел использовал 0% мозга и 200% силы для победы над троллем
sick permadeath win
It's challenging, you can easily roast that troll with Pyromage lvl 20.
But that's good, because I always die when making an Electromancer character lmao.
late comment but I don't think you need to go in melee when he is regenrating. You can out dps his healing. Much risk with basically no reward
wheres risk? if you have right timing troll cant damage you.

@@piotreus5631 read my comment
@@manticore88-e6l No point in that. Your comment is not worth reading.
It's actually safer to get close to the troll than staying away lol. As long as its earthquake skill is ready, it won't hit you with usual claw attack
Out of curiosity, I see you very rarely use Impulse in your fights while it constantly saves my ass, might I know why?
The biggest thing about Impulse is its crowd control but against the troll I highly doubt it's going to have much effect. I might be wrong about that but i'm not gonna test in a permadeath run essentially.
@@jim-bot it does damage over time, replaces Resonating status with a more powerful one (which still counts as Resonating for relevant skills) and can be extended with a simple jolt
@@joachimvonvolkenrose6925 Fair argument and I agree, it's definitively a good spell but well, I explained why I wasn't keeping that in mind much.
Honestly you have so many spells (including the magic mastery ones) but you gotta select a few and focus since by the time you prep your 5 buffs and debuffs the boss has killed you ahah.
level 30 electromacy...
this is amazing!
Sorry... Im kinda noob, but... Where did u get the magic robes and equipment? Are they selled in osbrook? Or somewhere else? Is there sny other tailor? ;(
brynn alchemist at the port. You need respect reputation for him to sell those (7000 rep).
Hey...i play in this game in 2023...tell me how to unlock experience? How to promote my sorcerer higher then 30 level? Pls help me.
level 30 is the maximum achievable
Do you think you needed lvl 30 or could you have scrapped by with a lower level? Rage quit after almost killing troll with lvl 11 sword and shield build but I just got back into the game with the new skill tree. Very cool fight regardless 👌
No, you don't need lvl 30, it heavily depends on the build and how much you want and can exploit the troll AI without repercussions. Pure electromancer is certainly not one of the best if you want to kill him low level though is my impression. Hard to give precise numbers for everything since stoneshard runs are really really long and I don't have time to try everything. I just do permadeath runs very slowly and at a pace where i'm sure I won't have too much trouble. It's one of the options after all.
@@jim-bot I havent played electromancy yet, but i think electromancy isnt the best choice against the troll because you just cant knock it back, inmobilize it nor stun it. What would you recommend adding to the build to help dealing damage to an almost inmovable beast?
@@martabanegas5663 sword and shield was the safest choice to kill troll on low level. If you get dash the troll basically cant hit you back. He'll just die from all the bleeding stacks you inflict. Just be careful when he heal and his slam is on cd. You need to skip a turn and let him heal once so his first attack after you disrupt his heal is the slam and not the swipe attack. If you attack him instantly when the slam is one turn cd, youd be in alot of pain lmao
Good stuff 👍
where did you get that staff?
you need respect reputation in brynn and the alchemist will sell all of the mages specialized gears

have you ever fought the troll before? that strat seemed like you were going in blind doing whatever random action that came to mind haha gj tho
I killed the troll 3-4 times (all on permadeath, i'm not rolling until I get a good "clip"). I'm wondering if you have any experience though since you don't understand what's happening (troll spamming boulder whenver he can or stunning / disarming my character) and what i'm building (full mage, can't go dancing at the troll's feet with no defensive stats). It's not random actions.
I do full mage builds and electromancy doesn't work well against it, the damage is fine but if you want a good showcase of the troll being unable to do anything against a full mage build you can watch my geomancer video on it, where while being 6 level short he couldn't move or do anything and died pretty quickly.
Show me your full electromancy build / run against the troll, i'd be pretty curious to see the "strat".
@@jim-bot it's not random actions. Exactly you can easily dance at trolls feet and it's way safer than eating boulders and whatever
@@jim-bot Your channel is a magnet for silly shit-talkers that come to dick measure against your gaming skills. Lucky you. Awesome video, btw. I haven't played with electromancy yet. What's your take on it? Have another video where you talk about it?
@@rohacjustrohac3581 Everybody knows that, i'm not going for that (it's boring doing the same thing on every character) and anyway you're way too optimistic thinking you can dance melee with pure mages like that with not RNG based repercussions.
The only hit he did melee was a bleed too. My only means of escape is long cooldown dash.
You're free to risk your permadeath run going full melee where if anything goes wrong and it stuns you or drops your weapon in a bad spot he gets a couple of free hits maybe. Bad injury or couple of bleeds and you can stare at the screen.
The important part is that he's dead and this is not a showcase "speedrun troll" fight, there's really no reason to even discuss this.
@@jim-bot it was exciting I'll give you that :D
damn electromancy seems way weaker than pyro.. i killed him way faster at lvl 25 with worse gear and no
buffs
Not gonna lie pyro is so much better
Against the troll, 100%. The Manticore fight already showcases electromancy a little bit better.
Where did you get the electromancer staff? The alchemist shop?
Yes
