I cannot thank you enough for this pattern. I want to make one for myself. In the future, would you be able to include the amount of leather needed for the project. I usually get small panels for my small projects. It is just for me to see if I have enough to make something this large. You give so much to the leather making community, I would hate to ask you to do more work. I suppose I could cut out the patterns, assemble them. Then measure myself. Hmmm.
I may have criticized you for being wasteful, but you need to know that of all the contributors on UA-cam, and there many fine ones, your work is in my opinion the most high end on a consistent basis. Your work truly inspires. Thank you for your passion and love for the craft.
Looks like a nice pattern. My wife just started a new job as a teacher and this will make a wonderful gift for her. Now to pick out the leather I will use.

3M spray adhesive makes attaching the pattern to thicker paper really freakin' quick.

You can also print out patterns on adhesive labels and stick the pattern to firm poster board.

As someone who knows absolutely nothing about leatherworking, this is fascinating. I fancy myself more of a seamster, so the idea of putting together a pattern in 3d space is simlple for me, but the differences always hit me like s rock whenever i realize them. You make this look absolutely effortless!
I landed on your channel by sheer luck, and while I do leather goods myself, they're of a different nature and still, it's a joy to watch them or just listen to the leatherwork while I do my own things.
And I still get to learn a thing or two I can apply to my own projects. For all that, I thank you.

Merci Hahns pour ce très joli travail parfaitement expliqué et réalisé . Si je fais un jour ce modèle, je pense légèrement le modifier : je ferai les coins inférieurs légèrement en quart de ronds plutôt que carrés et le passant de fermeture du rabat plutôt cousu en V de chaque côté du passage au lieu des rivets (je n'aime pas les rivets!).

Отличная модель папки и работа! Приятно видеть, как кусок кожи мертвого животного превращается в ИЗДЕЛИЕ. На мой взгляд к папке очень подойдет ручка в таком же стиле - крепление на кожаной петле, без использования металла . Просто и элегантно. Супер, молодец!

This had inspired me for a design. I really like the leather closure, but I have a question. I want to add a handle to the top, but that would put stress in the leather loop on the front of the bag. Do you think it could handle the stress or would it deform over time? Also, if it would take too much stress, could I use a metal loop instead, and where I find one? Thanks for any help!
