Journal With Me! Versatile Paper Dolls for Your Journals!

Create with me as I make hand made paper dolls for my journals.
This is the first of what will be a three part series.
What you need for this project:
Regular sized scissors
Small scissors
Paper (I used an old paper bag and a magazine page)

The thing about paper dolls is there is no one to nag at you how you’re wasting your time, or that you are doing something silly when you’re older. I’m at the time of life when if I want to mess around with bits of paper it is up to me. I like how you are using old letters. Great idea. Would love to try and make these as "mood" dolls for my journal. They could be different colors like the mood rings everyone had in the 70s and maybe have coordinating poses. I never was a doll girl -- hated Barbie, cut the hair off most any doll 👩🦲until older when the parents & relatives bought dolls made for sitting on a shelf and looking at. I was more of a coloring book, jigsaw, and constant reader kinda girl. Thanks for the inspiration!!
It was my mom who hated Barbie. She thought that such a "chesty" doll was completely inappropriate for children. I wasn't allowed to have one, but my two sisters who came along later, did have Barbies. Like you, I was a voracious reader. Thanks for your helpful ideas!
