Crazy fun stuff! So many possibilities, for sure.❤ A note on your Cutter Bee scissors... you probably already know to do this, but if you put a drop of sewing machine oil inside where the two pieces come together and then work the scissors some, I think you'll find they are considerably looser to use. Wipe off any extra, of course, and practice cutting on different thicknesses of paper before really using them on something serious. I think you'll find this makes this scissor your new favorite!
I have the same pair and I agree they are stiff. Not sure if they're going to improve. Loved to see if yours do. I love these paper dolls and your creative process. Thank you!
I’m a hairstylist and we use shear oil that help lubricate and allow for effortless opening and closing. It’s an oil that can be placed at the joint and open and close it several times and wipe excess away. Hope that helps!
I do love what you did -- so much fun.... but then there's how what you've doing trips my own brain to begin spewing ideas (lol). For instance, In the little plant pots, it would be fun to have just people heads growing in them. Rows and rows of heads. :)
I have had a pair of Cutter Bees. My hands are very small tho (I wear children's gloves). I have found that they DO loosen up a good bit with use. I love mine! Loved the concept today! Thanks & Bless
Hi, Rosie! I've been watching all your videos from the start since a few weeks ago. I like your style, ways of work and results. I do collage as well. This has been my favorites. Love them!! I've been always shy to write something on your vids, but couldn't help it now since the outcome was lovely!! Looking forward enjoy more of your process. Thank you for sharing. Bye 😄
Oh rosie you've outdone yourself !! I'm going to go back and watch again. I have some ephemera of 20s and 30s cutouts of fashion magazines that bnb I purchased. I am so inspired to come up with my version or versions. Love me some rosie
Hi Rosie, love the paper doll series, especially the strawberry gal. Such fun and very original. What really helps the images is contrast. Thank you. Gram Nancy
For your cutter bee scissors try a tiny drop of sewing machine oil or another light oil then work em! Then of course dry well and cut some scrap paper to make sure all the oil is off the blades
What also would’ve been cool and you could still do this with another one is if you cut the hair off the hat and fit it in under the rings and then took the flowers and put them over the rings so the rings were like the brim of the hat that would be so cool
I did, & put a vintage flair to one of mine with mini feathers, and flowers. 😊 oh, tiny scissors that you can maneuver pivots, & turns on small angles/ corners, by staying right on the lines. Only cut off what you don't want.
Just recently found your channel and love what I have seen so far. Question: how do you store your finished collages? To you frame them? Keep them in an album? Would love to find out. Many thanks for the inspiration. ♥
U r sooooooo FREAKIN talented AND fun to watch! I just recently accidentally found u, but see, I need to go back and find out MORE about u! Thnk u so very much for sharing!
For the stiff scissors I think you can add a tiny bit of graphite in the screw The kind used for locks, you could try a tiny bit of WD40 but you don't want oil on the handles or cutting part of scissors
Thanks for the info on the scissors Rosie, I hope they loosen up for you too. Brilliant work as always🙂 I do love watching your videos. I imagine a lot of time, effort and skill goes into making them the outcome being such a lovely presentation. They show such clarity your ideas, and process, what works and what doesn’t and the final result is always great.
Your channel popped up today and I am glad. I enjoyed watching you and even chuckled a little. Beautiful and creative collages. Also, I love the background music. Will you share where you got it? I would love to add that to one of my playlists. Thanks.

Really fun. Thanks

love this!
Loosen the screw on the scissors just a tad. If you loosen too much they won't cut as properly, so be sure to do just a tad. Hope this helps!
I absolutely love these. Really wish I could think of cool collages like these.
so amazing
Thanks for the info on the scissors Rosie, I hope they loosen up for you too. Brilliant work as always🙂 I do love watching your videos.
