Holy smokes! Sometimes I love the UA-cam Gods for suggesting your channel on my feed. I love coloring. I color every single day and for the last 6 months or so I have been doing artisan journal pages. Now I can tie the 2 in together. Great tutorial.
I really loved doing this and am doing another page in my art journal with the same technique because it is so fun! They come out so layered and textured and fun to look at! Enjoy!
I don’t know how I found you but I’m blessed to have. You’re amazing and I can’t wait to get my paper dolls in the mail! You’re an inspiration and very telented!
Absolutely love this! I would have never thought to use images from coloring books in this way! Brilliant! Can't wait to try this technique! Thanks so much for the tutorial!
I just love these pages! I recently found your channel and am really enjoying your work. This one in particular looks like it might be loads of fun to do with my granddaughters. They both have a “Passion for Fashion”, much to their daddy’s dismay…lol! TFS and God bless you! Oh and Happy New Year! May 2023 be joyous and prosperous for you and yours! 🎉
I have had an idea since I saw this video a bit ago. I have a collection of fashion rubbing plates for the kids at club on Wednesdays at church. Remember those plates? I thought I could use them the way you use the coloring books! 😊
Love, love, love your paper dolls. Can you do a video on how you paint, color, shade or draw the faces? I would love to see that. Your talent is incredible. I have a heck of a time getting flesh colored pens that don't run my ink. Also just getting the right color of flesh with a pencil, marker or water color is a nightmare. I've noticed if the marker is alcohol it even makes permanent ink smudge, or is that just me?
I will show it in my next video for you. You can also look back on some of my other videos … I show face coloring on several videos. Thank you for watching! It really depends on the supplies you are using, the paper you are working on and how you layer art supplies. I found a good pic to use next video to show what I mean.
Not sure what you mean. I show how I made the body… I covered each section with different papers and things. The whole video shows how I did it! What can I clarify for you to help? Thanks for the tip to my tip jar! Super kind of you!
LOl, people, please dont scan copyrighted anything like she tells you in this video. The point is to buy another copy of the book and use it, if you want to keep one book together. I mean really, thats the whole point of copyright law. LOL.
If this were art I were going to sell, I would NOT use a copyrighted image. This is my personal art journal, for fun and yes I want to keep the original book in tact so I can create art journal pages and change the image each time. I am not doing anything wrong. I cannot afford to buy 20 copies of one coloring book to play in my art journal. I don’t think anyone would do that. Copyright law is to protect the artist from having their work redistributed and sold. I’m playing in my art journal… just for me. No one sees it except for when I show a flip thru of my completed journals. Additionally, if you change an image a certain percent from the original it is no longer a copyright infringement. This image has been greatly altered from the original and I am not selling it or the artwork. Art journaling channels are filled with this kind of debate. I have had my own personal drawings stolen, reproduced and sold printed on items - now that is a copyright infringement. But you can’t do a thing about it unless you can afford a lawyer to sue the perpetrator. I am not doing that here or in what I am teaching.

Where could i get the hat stencil, please?
It is several years old. Maybe on eBay or Etsy.
Where did you get the hat stencils?
It is a brass embossing stencil for card making from about 20 years ago. You might look on eBay. You can find brass stencils there.
