This episode, "Pikes Peak-The Race," takes you behind-the-scenes with the team as they prepare for and race up America's mountain-a 12.42-mile ride that climbs over 5,000 feet with 156 turns. Compton, SBK Factory founder and custom bike builder, teams up with his longtime friend and AMA Pro Road Racer Holden to race in the 2013 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. From practice, to qualifying, to the main event, watch as Holden and Compton test the limits of themselves and their pair of custom built SBK Factory ZRX1224RR Superbikes.

I cannot give enough respect to these guys. But these bikes are something on another level for me. I've always had a huge soft spot for bike muscle bikes. I always felt they lacked something for me, like I needed my Tuono factory as a side bike, but this machine they have created is something of beauty I've never seen the suspension, the carbon fibre the everything, my god I'm in love . If I win the lottery I'll pay what's ever they ask for these bikes

People's dependence/fascination with Starbuck's boggles my mind. These guys go out the night before to buy Starbucks, so they can microwave it next day. Old coffee. Go to thrift store and buy a 10 dollar coffee machine. Go to store and buy 8 dollar bag of coffee grounds. All the fresh, hot coffee you want all morning! Why not?!
Great PP race vid! Thank you and love it!!!!

Man this doc stirs my soul. My first trip up Pikes Peak was when I was just a lad, I rode a 70’ Honda SL350.
I can’t help but feel but part of the family seeing how I presently have 2 Kawa’s in my garage. One of which is a direct predecessor to the ZRX, that being a 1975 Z1b. There is just something special about the old UJM muscle bikes that stirs my soul. Naked and powerful; for all to see and hear.
Thank you to all the sponsors who help bring this amazing vid to life. Congrats to James and Jake for their stellar ride to the top.

Dear James & Jake, congratulations for the splendid classic bike revival as well as the overall finish at the mountain race. Your endeavours to resurrect such a classic motorcycle strike a chord with me as in 1982 I became the proud owner of Z1000J2 which just like you, I went to extraordinary lengths to make that little bit special until some blasted son of unholy mother decided to relieve me of my pride & joy. Maybe if I get lucky ( after more than 35 years off the road), I'll be looking to buy an old J2 wreck to turn it into something similar to what I once had. Who knows, I might be calling upon your expertise & ask you to ship some few goodies to the U.K. Best of luck to you all & I definitely look forward to see some more of your next racing adventures.

What you need is a system that as you hit the brakes a secondary button sprays out a small puff of UV paint, then do the same at turn in and apex. Then next run with you turn on hidden UV light and detector and viola. New lap record.

Just outlines the different style of riding! It defies bike physics, I mean your taking corners with both knees disconnected from the tank and making it work! Kudos!
Totally different style to riding in UK! You guys charge the corners we're as we go slow in fast out and you don't shit your weight like we do, bud it bloody works so that's the last time I tell people you can't charge corners and make it work lol! Well done! Excellent piece and balls to the wall style love it!!
