Excellent review, there is a solution for the heavy breather.
I installed rider extensions that pushes the floorboards out and makes way more room and very comfy.
I have always added the extensions for all my bikes ever owned.
For the brake, check soft brake one of the best changes I made.
As a fellow Street Glide owner, I really enjoy your videos. On my 2019 SGS, I have updated the windshield and installed a stage 1 screamin eagle kit. I have the ventilator air filter. I thought about the heavy breather, but figured it would get in my way. Great video.
This is my favourite bike from the 2020 lineup - I think the paint job is what does it for me - amazing. I’d put an S&S Carbon Fiber Teardrop Air Cleaner on there, D&D exhaust, Saddlemen Seat perhaps or maybe a Corbin. Beautiful.
Road Glide is the ONLY way to go!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I have this bike. Only time I think I paid too much is when I’m not riding it! That’s not too often.
SG Special, 10” bars KST bars, Klok Werx tinted low screen, quality highway pegs, 124 engine kit and LED’s all around w/bag fillers and tombstone license plate LED. Done. (For now). Because all bikes need mods. Nothing perfect, just perfect for you. Ride safe and ride often. Peace.
I agree with you on the heavy breather, and the little crash bars.
It's a Klock Works wind screen. Got the 8.5 on my SG. Love love Love it. Best investment so far.
I know that had to be a fun day of riding with the family! Awesome.
That is a gorgeous bike scheme, I'd like it in a Limited version when I'm ready to give up my 15 Limited.
I test rode all the 2020 touring models when they were in town. I ride a 15 SGS and my favorite was the Roadglide Special. It was the first bike I rode that I did not immediately hate the handlebars! I also like the hill brake assist. If I were to buy that bike the only thing I would change would be the pipes and maybe put on the tallboys floorboad brackets!
Klock Werks windshields are the best you should check them out.
I bought a 7 inch Klock Works smoked windshield for my 2019 SGS. The recurve shape directs the wind over my helmet. I am 5 - 11 and the windshield design works well for me.
Great clip, keep up the good work. Enjoy your test rides and your opinions on touring bike options!
always enjoy your videos, curious to know how your father and uncle felt about their test rides
I just got a 2019 Road Glide CVO, I said the same thing but you get used to the heavy breather being there! After a couple rides you won't notice it!! I'm 6'4" so I'm tall too!!
I have the screaming eagle 6 star. I wonder does the 90° pipe bolted to the engine get hot? When running the corners my intakes sucks air from all directions and keeps it "cool." So I can squeeze my legs to lean the old girl in the curves.
look at a klock werks windshield. I also like the ciro floor board mounted highway pegs. and the crash bar is subjective I know I guy that's got them and he uses the upper part of the bar to rest his leg
Love that Road glide 😍
I agree 100% about the crash bars. Not a fan. Good video, thanks.
Hi TT Your noticing the curved windshield. I put one on my Indian and it really makes a big difference.
Awesome 😎 Ride safe and enjoy
Thanks for the info about the breather... taking it off my list
It sure is a beautiful bike... but with the upgrades you just made on your ride you sounded way happier with your current bike 👌
I don’t care for the crash bars either and would rather have the lowers with the speakers also , they changed the looks but in the wrong direction for me
Hey Tall, you forgot to test the heated grips again :)
I have the same breather/intake on my bike and I love it. Before you give up on it, I would try a different seat to see if that will move you back enough to make it more comfortable. Also, I have one of those windshields that I used on my ‘18 SG and I loved it. Let me know if you want it and we’ll work it out!
Nice Harley Davidson. Hoping to see you test some of the metrics.
That bike is pretty. Would be better with chrome instead of being blacked out. Your 2019 is the better bike. Better ride for sure with taller sidewalls on the tires. Only thing your bike doesn’t have is the 117. I say keep yours and if you want more power go stage 4.
2020 cvo comes with the adaptive daymakers now
The 8 inch clockwerks shield works better than the HD shield.
CVO'S are just too expensive. And then they still fall short of everything wanted on a bike. Some folks can afford them but not me.
I have the twenny twenny street glide 107 and I love it and have it in denim black it's too expensive for those bikes but they are beautiful
Hey...another good test ride...so true about that air cleaner , looks cool but uncountable to ride with I ride with my stock air cleaner with a K&N filter. check-out Freedom Shields online, I put a 6 inch on my Streetglide and it works out nicely great people to do business with, you order one and it comes with a plastic covering both sides don't take it off... install and try it out if you don't like it mail it back for another size or tint to try on or refund . try it you'll like it...cost was around $125.00 .
866 lbs and $40,539 msrp according to Harley's website. Don't like any of the 2020 CVO color schemes. Enjoyed your comments and the ride along.
And doesn't even have a hundred horsepower?
Great Video. Very disappointed with the 2020 CVO Street Glides! Great bike but not worth the $$$! Doing away with great components such as the color-matched fairing lowers, two additional speakers, color-matched inner fairing and replacing it with a regular vivid black inner fairing to name a few. Also, the same stale paint jobs with a couple of cheesy decals? and then increasing prices after all that? Really? Why not buy a Street Glide Special that's practically the same bike for $15K less! Eliminating signature parts and creativity to reduce costs is NOT a good business model going forward!!
right if you buy the Street glide special you can spend the extra money customized it your way and increase the motors performance still come out ahead on money
This bike is very beautiful!
Owning a 19 CVO ultra limited I can say cutting a check to empire harley for 46K it was not with it. Not even close. Would have been better off buying a limited and modifying to my liking still cheaper or having gone with my gut: '19 K1600GTL
Looks like you left the setting in rain mode. Bike would have been quicker if you took it out of rain mode. Also, the 2020 CVO Limited and Street Glide does come with the adaptive headlight, and it makes a gigantic difference in riding on unlit curvy roads at night.
Bikes with Frigen Rain Mode? 😂😂😂😂 I'll stick with my 14 Firefighter Shrine Street glide NON ABS.
Do you adjust your rear shock on your bike ? You should do a performance mod on your bike. I would do a torque cam at the very least.
We are never going to discover a universe where a motorcycle, any motorcycle, least of all a Harley...is going to be worth $44k.
That’s funny. Paint scheme looks just like the victory’s from 2017.
Test ride the Challenger for us!!
That is a good looking bike
you know I wish they would offer stretched bags without the exhaust holes in them. I like running short pipes on my bagger so if i got a CVO or a Special I would have to get aftermarket bags. With all the money you spend on a CVO you should be able to get any option you want. The main thing I would change is the PRICE also they drive me crazy we have that little storage space on the right where you can put phone why don't they open the one on the left!
The CVO is beautiful
Thanks for that TT. I am definitely not going to own a CVO this time around, but that is a beautiful bike. Did you brother-in-law fall victim to the shark effect of that nice looking RG? Or is he still Team Batwing? 😀 Like someone else said, it’s a shame to spend $40k+ and still have a list of things to do to it, but that sure is one fine looking ride. Maybe one day
The thing I'd change is getting and Indian Challenger instead... xP
I have to agree the small crash bars look awful, is there even enough room to mount highway pegs? The bike should cost less because of the lack of lowers with speakers.
Love my CVO Limited, nice video
I just landed in Nashville !what dealership do you go to? It would be cool to run into you. I’m heading to boswells
Tall People problems lol so glad i six foot even ,lovin my 19 RKS but if I were to get a CVO I'd go with Roadglide 😎
Unfortunately, for some reason unknown, Harley didn't make a CVO Road Glide for 2020!
Sucks that after spending $44 K on a bike you gotta spend more ! I think 🤔 it’s outrageous that the 2020 CVO StreetGlide has no lowers & that ugly crash bar ! Yuck 🤢!
Thanks for watching Leonard.
LOL Wait till the kids at Mcdonalds start making $15.00 a hour see what a burger cost. Everything is getting outrageous
I like it.
Great review- thanks. I am shorter- 5'5"- is that bike too big?
Someone is going to get to buy a used bike for retail prices from the dealer. CVO test ride bikes are used bikes so do not pay the sticker price for them.
Vaya con Dios carnal
Where is the flannel from? I would love to grab one.
For the price of a regular Street glide to get to CVO model you don't really get the Value ...
$44,000 is insane. $27k you can get a far better bike, the Indian Challenger Dark Horse.
That CVO paint job almost matches your shirt.
How does the 117 compare to the Indian 116?
I think apes should be included in the price of the CVO, for 43000 you should be able to a choice of bars!
What did your Father think of the RG?
My friend your rode a goldwing a few videos ago im an inch shorter than you and i want a goldwing, did you feel cramped on it?
The Shame with these CVO's is as soon as you roll them off the lot, you'll lose at least $15-17K, thats what happens to $40+ Thousand dollar Bikes....No Thanks !!
Buy it and ZIPPER it with a 128!
What's your seat of choice?
how about some handlebars
Standard and CVO have the same rear suspension?
Electric pig spotters are worthless , all they need is adjusted once by hand and that's it . This dude I know bought a 2019 cvo Street glide and he still had to by a set of aftermarket exhausts . Same goes with electric bags , talking about eye gouging
Just buy the Eluder save $22,000.
Distortion on the top of the windshield. 👎
Enjoy your honest opinions Please take time and watch on UA-cam The truth about Michael Pompeo and China
You sound like Obama 😂
He'd have too be Obama too be able too afford it!😂
hey Man love your channel. So I am 6'3" ,and like you, I like the low window shield on my Street glide Special BUT at over 75mph I really feel alot of buffeting. I have been looking at this wind splitter , it looks good and seems to do the job. Would you recommend it for the buffeting I am having ? Thanks Rob
