Montgomery County Transit Ride On 2008 Low Floor Gillig Advantage Diesel

Was looking for this bus for many hours luckily caught it finally I am so glad these are back I haven’t rode one since 2021. This unit still sounds really good even if it was sitting for the past 2 years! I hope these will last until the new XHE40s coming next year🙏 these are officially the oldest ride on gilligs currently running at 16 years old! and I am pretty sure the last ones with the old Ride on blue livery all though one 2008 LF30 is being used for training so both LF30 and LF40s. I pray that the 2008 LF30 training unit (5001) comes back too🙏 my guess for the 2008 LF40s is they will last between 17-18yrs. I did see an other unit departing rockville (5743) also seemed in good conditions too! make sure to ride these soon! possibly all will go to the Ride On Extra routes and no longer the regular routes in September and be in a new wrap but there is a chance some might stay for regular routes and with the same old paint.
