Montgomery County Transit Ride On NEW 2019 Gillig Low Floor Advantage CNG

Here is a ride video of MCT Ride On NEW 2019 Gillig LF Advantage CNGs on Rt 61 to Shady Grove Station. An order 22 of these CNG buses plus an additional 3 more diesel versions as well. They enter like a week or 2 ago replacing older Orion VII CNGs operating out of the Gaithersburg garage with a update paint scheme. Plus have different seats pattern which looks nice.

Hands down I like the sound of the engine. Reminds me of the New Flyer XN40s. Hands down the Orion V’s, VI’s, and the VII’s are the best series. Gonna miss them. Sad to see them being retired

These things are beasts! I rode some on 43, 55 and 57. I'm sad the Orions are gone, but I like these way more than I should.

I rode on one of these buses on 60 to Shady Grove which I live pretty close to. Aside from the newest paint scheme, I love the blue interior lighting when the doors are closed as if I should try riding these buses when it's night. I still feel sad to see the Orion VII's retired, but at least the New Flyer C40LF's are still around for another year at least.

These new buses look splendid. Ride On ordered 23 of these & 3 Clean Diesel buses with the brand new paint scheme. These buses are painted blue, Dark blue, A touch of white, & light green in a wave pattern. These new buses replaced all remaining Orion VII CNGs.
