You could just hop into a refrigerator if a nuke explodes. Plus, since refrigerators keep things cool, you would be cool too, and not hot from the nuclear blast.
Wow! 😳 This video is full of useful and essential information for survival in different situations. Definitely watch it and be prepared for anything! 💪
I'm a 70 and 80 kid so all this information is fabulous right now. Wait 20 or 30 years and scientists will tell you everything you thought you knew is wrong lol.
@@traycwilson945 It's true that science is constantly evolving, but that's not a reason to disregard everything we know now. I think it's best to use the information we have while keeping our minds open to new things.
Seems like several heights of detonations were combined here... An EMP would not occur at only a couple hundred meters (more like 30 km). If it was a 30km detonation, there is almost no radiation effects. Even airbursts of only a couple hundred meters up does not produce much if any radioactive fallout. That is only really caused by a ground strike. So which was it: 30km up, a couple hundred meters, or a ground strike?
You really underestimate farmers. As long as there isn't a ground burst locally, we have the equipment and private fuel tanks to effectively clear irradiated soil to plant. Deep private wells for clean water. Potting soils by the pallet and fertilizer as well. Bomb shelter? We call it a root cellar. Really think you might be underestimating farmers a little, just saying. Oh, one more thing, a lot of us farmers are veterans and had NBC training.
With the latest generation of nukes, these can burrow several hundred feet into the ground before detonation, making even underground shelters useless, so survival in a nuke war in our times is virtually impossible - if these nukes hit a previously dormant volcano, these can trigger an eruption, if hitting a fault line they can trigger an earthquake and if that fault line or volcano is under an ocean or sea that can trigger a tidal wave - any nuke nations hostile to the west without any provocation will fire their nukes even if they don’t feel threatened - even if a nuke nation fires its nukes across the borders of another nation, there is no other nation anywhere in the world that can truly be described as neutral - a nuke war is an assured certainty in 2025 unless the US has its Star Wars nuke defence program fully operational and this an important global responsibility of the US
It's most likely there won't be water from a shower because the water pumps will be destroyed. You'll need to use water from your supply so not only should you plug up your tub and sinks then fill them up but it's best to have bottled water and even empty jugs that can hurriedly filled up also. Water is very very very important.
If the water is still running you should be able to use it for about half a day but then there's the fear of the contamination entering it faster than expected. Best to only use your running water for no more than 3 hours and use that time to fill up any clean sealable containers you have. You can fill up stuff like barrels and buckets for washing but don't use that for drinking.
The experts say that if you're being abducted from the street and they're trying to put you into a vehicle you should yell and scream and fight as hard as possible to not let them pull you in. They say your chances of coming out of the situation alive is greatly decreased by at least 50%. Which makes perfect sense because once you are in the vehicle it's harder for people outside to hear you or see you and your fighting area is greatly diminished.
Since I live nearby the Tuatara, the only surviving Dinosaur, chances are I’ll survive Nuclear Holocaust as well, if the Tuatara survived mass extinction in this location it’s looking good for me too 😎
I think a nuclear attack is a bit different than an astroid hitting Earth my friend. I suggest doing some research. I believe you may be a little mixed up on the different types of “nuclear” there are.
@ nope, it’s already known the nuclear fallout can’t cross the equator, just like volcanic ash can’t cross the equator, and anyone living in the southern most part of the southern hemisphere is far enough away, and a meteor hitting earth is greater devastation compared to nuclear bombs depending on the size of the meteor, a nuclear bomb doesn’t have mass like a meteor does it’s just a chain reaction
@@she_sings_delightful_things I’ve already said it, the fallout doesn’t cross the equator, this is known because for the nuclear tests done in the South Pacific the fallout doesn’t move north over the equator, because it can’t, it travels around its parallel, the earth will get colder but that is survivable where I live too, like I said we’ve got a few living species in Australia and New Zealand that already did survive the mass extinction in the past, its well known this region is survivable again, the mindset that everything dies is just a human condition, it’s the same fear that says planes were going to fall out of the sky in the year 2000, when that never happened. Those living in the northern hemisphere are pretty much dead, but yea as some species have survived since the dinosaurs, and I live nearby them already, its looking pretty good for us, we can tell the future generations how crazy those in the northern hemisphere were for destroying themselves
Now that's not totally true. They had somethings right, other things sorta right and a bunch of things wrong but some is better than none. You just have to always keep in mind not to rely on everything you hear/read on the Internet. Always double checking important things.
Judging by what's coming for people who are poor, on SSI and other stuff. Maybe I want to die in it. Well I'm surviving now cuz I got my dad (my fiance died and all plan were ruined) helping me but after he's gone.........I'm in trouble. Luckily his family live into their 90s so that at least 15 years.......unless he dies in a car crash....ok.....yeah...OCD kicking in
Trying to survive modern life. Keep a high paying job with extremely high stress levels due to your inability to affect positive changes. The survival termination of employment. That's real life. Not fantasy nonsense.
After an EMP or a Nuclear Detonation happens, anything with electronics (cars, trucks, trains, airplanes) are ruined and cannot be used. In terms of protecting you from an outside hazard, they're not good. You have cracks in all the door seals, you have the air vents, and any number of places where radioactive particles can sit and hit you. Cars are open and have very little lead, so they will be a poor shielding against most radioactive particles.
And if I had a choice whether to be one of the survivors that just walks around with their flesh hanging off of their body and then dies I will take the immediate nuclear incineration of my body. You know the saying that there are some things worse than death. This is a prime example. Oh and please do not buy the pills that are supposed to protect you from radiation. Iodine pills, but they only work on one type (maybe a couple) of radiation and it's not nuclear weapon radiation. It's more or less a placebo. Now that's coming from my sister, who is a retired Air Force veteran who did nine tours over the past 20 year war we had in the Middle East.
