    Hey everyone. There has been a lot of commentary about the 365 (we have a presentation on it). The 365 is a striker action with a very light trigger pull, lighter than some single actions I have fired.
    In my opinion it has a higher chance of negligent discharge due to unintentional finger on the trigger than other strikers like most Glocks. So... If you get a 365 make sure you carry it in the proper holster that covers the trigger and I would prefer the version of the 365 that has the manual safety.

    • @MOTO809
      @MOTO809 3 роки тому +60

      Very true, I have the XL. A holster that covers the trigger is a MUST. It is a very light trigger for a striker fire. It makes shooting it quite nice though.

      Although it would be unlikely somebody would be able to take your handgun, the Blackhawk has the pro of if you arent familiar with guns it is somewhat complex to operate. So somebody who might take it may not be able to use it in their favor.

You'd be surprised at the number of clients I've had (widely spread out over Texas and New Mexico) that have the same story about little people that live in their ceiling coming down and stealing their keys during the night. I've even had a mother/daughter tag team that lined their rooms with foil to keep out the CIA's "listening rays" and wanting high security locks to keep the CIA and drug cartels from picking their locks.Yeah, these people are out there, and not few and far between. And don't even get me started about the lady with little people living in her sofa who had a "doctor" poop in her hands while performing an operation at her dining room table. True stories.

      Well that's because they are recommendations. I understand Paul doesn't want to present his opinions as facts or get into arguments with people over them and that's why he gives those disclaimers, but just a glimpse at a dictionary shows us:
      recommend
      put forward (someone or something) with approval as being suitable for a particular purpose or role.
      That describes the video pretty accurately. Saying it's "not a recommendation" while giving recommendations is bit of a cop out, like having your cake and eating it too. I get why he'd do it, but I think the "my training, my experience..." disclaimer should be sufficient by itself.

    I feel like the "Go with what you know" tip can actually be visually observed in this video. Even across recommended handguns, it seems like Paul's confidence with the Baretta platform can be seen in real time. Time between shots, target acquisition, and posture seem to be so comfortable he almost starts actions before the previous one has finished, regardless of caliber, like he gets into position before the gun itself quite gets there. The differences might be individually negligible, but for this to be something visible in a professional would suggest to me a greater overall benefit for people who are less familiar with firearms in general.

    I learned early on, carry the largest gun that you will actually carry and a gun you shoot well. Dress around the gun and make sure you have a good belt and holster. So here I am in the Deep South and carry a stainless commander size 1911 every day with two extra mags and have no issues with concealment or being uncomfortable. For many years my family didn’t even know I carried a gun let alone ole slabsides, but I like it and I’m confident with it and that goes a long way over how many rounds the mag holds.

      That's great that it works for you. I do carry a full size most of the time. Always a good thing to have a small option, even when preference is for bigger.

      People have to adjust to their circumstances. My clothing (uniform) and work make having anything but a tiny pistol on my person impossible. My hands are simply too big to allow me to use a tiny pistol. Hell, my friend showed me a .380 he has, and was wondering if it would be the right thing to use to put down his sick dog. He was thinking about doing a double tap on the back of the dog's neck. He wanted me to go along with him to do the job if he couldn't bring himself to pull the trigger. As such, I tried the pistol in my hand and was very uncomfortable with trying to grip it and work the trigger. I also was uncomfortable with the idea of trying to instantly kill the dog with FMJ ammo out of the little cartridge. I told him we'd use a better choice for the job, and introduced him to my Smith and Wesson 4506 and the Glaser Safety Slugs. I told him that it would be the best choice for the job at hand, and it was. A single round into the back of the head put the dog out of his misery in half an instant. My friend was concerned that there could be more suffering from a bad shot placement, which is why he was thinking about the double tap with the .380 and FMJ ammo. At the moment of truth, the Glaser did its job. Like switching off a light. It's something I took no pleasure in doing, but it's something I was able to do by blocking out the emotions and going to a matter of fact, job that had to be done, and done right attitude. We completed the job with a short burial and returned home. I kept my emotions in check, while my friend drove home. He was very mixed in his own emotions. I thought he might break down over the death of his dog, but he didn't at that time. He was more impressed than I expected with the killing performance. He expected some type of suffering response to the shot. The instant shutdown surprised him. He was extremely relieved that there was no suffering beyond the constant pain from an inoperable tumor.

      Booge Nautilus name me a single one. there's not a single one up for election or in office, & even those that have center-left leaning ideas have don't have the numbers to make any impact. your government is getting you to focus on a cultural split & push "otherness" to distract you from the fact that the modern democratic & republican party are the same party when it comes to fiscal matters, & they're pushing legislation left & right to mess both you & i & everyone else that's middle class or lower around.

    • @dogwalk3

      TheWin200000 that is absolute nonsense. do you know what communism is? where is there a united push for communism happening? the government wants us to focus on minorities to blame or push the myth that lazy people on welfare are the problem. every single person on welfare combined is a drop in the bucket compared to the tax cuts & subsidies to big business. the only minority you need to be worried about are elites. who do you think pays for all those corporate bailouts? we, the people do. who do you think pays for the healthcare of the senate who has been out of session or "not working" more than they have this year, yet still getting paid? we, the people do.
      it's time we realize that the government is the one who's lapping up all of our taxes & distributing it amongst themselves & lobbyists & not taking care of the public, while they spin a narrative of "commies in the streets" as a boogeyman to keep everyone busy while they laugh all the way to the bank.

      TheWin200000 antifa has less than a few hundred members across the country with no leadership, no plan, no structure. not a single antifa member has been arrested during these protests/riots. BLM movement is almost entirely peaceful protesters with a few terrible destructive rioters. all i'm saying is those two groups are blown way out of proportion. neither of them have the agenda or infrastructure to change anything. they literally pose a zero percent threat to anything of consequence. i don't know where you live, but having visited portland, seattle, los angeles, new orleans, nashville, louisville, & chicago this last month - these little shows are minuscule compared to what mainstream media is showing. no one's replacing our two party system anytime soon. my whole point is to help shed some light on this Red Scare 2.0 that media is pushing. it's propaganda. it's absolutely false. there's no coherent communist agenda arising in our country. it's not worth focusing on or fearing. we need to be putting all our attention on our three branches of government that are harming all of us.
