Hey cool video man. Maybe I missed it but is your car auto or manual? Because as soon as I installed these on my car and tuned it, I was eating my clutch like it was made of butter XD These little chinese whistles pack some real power!
I’ve always looked down on the turbo side of performance n been all about small block big block American muscle! Until I drive my first 335i and I absolutely love these cars wish it wouldn’t have taken me so long to come around to them but better late than never! Anyways man I need some guidance I just upgraded to these turbos on a 2007 that was already a FBO making around 400 hp I’ve got it all back together and I have shit for boost I’ve got the mhd tuner but no idea how to use it or what the hell to do! Any guidance would be so greatly appreciated! Thanks so much for your time!!!
It sounds like one of your vacuum lines is off or you have a major boost leak somewhere. Do a smoke test and then check where its leaking from. Also recommend u join n54tech group on facebook they can assist you with your problems too
@@Azizdesign_ Yessir man I was under the same impression because on paper it sounds like the right thing to do, but as long as they’re primed before first start they’re ready to party. I’m running 1stRacing eBay 17T on my 335. How have your turbos been treating you thus far bro?
@@Azizdesign_ thats good to hear. my stock ones are smoking like crazy. I'm considering doing these or an ON3 single turbo kit. These seem very risky tho haha
Amazon turbos won’t last longer than 2 years not worth it at all, recommend on going with turbolab America. They rebuild the oem turbos and even give you 300$ back when you send in your old turbos.
I have the same 17ts on my n54 just did a 3.90 0-100 KPH 👍 and just went to the drags and ran 11.6 at 122mph 👍
That's insaaane!
No break in time required on journal turbos, the bearing floats on oil.
Cheap turbos make some power but risky as you say.
True man
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for the video! I’m highly considering these 17t’s. I was already looking at pure stage 2’s but these look good too
Nice! these are great alternatives
Bro we’re gonna need an update on the 335i
Might have to give these a shot 😁
Intro killing the rev limiter lmao. Such a satisfying sound
facts hahah
When you went to drive with the new turbos for the first time, did they not bloody because you tuned them without mhd-jb4 backend?
Bloody?
Great Video

Thanks man! Mine is a six speed manual, don’t underestimate their power! Lol
Really considering these turbos
Give them a shot, they’re not terrible.
Great video bro 👍🏾

Hey bro, sweet ride! I wanted to ask, did ViV send extra seals as well? I got the 17t’s and wanted to know if i had to install them. Thanks
Hey, VIV actually did not but either way I wouldnt use their seals. Buy them from FCP euro
No break in period on these. They’re journal bearing turbos. what are you breaking in?
Thanks for clarifying you’re probably right

Drive like a human! Ha ha i love this guy
where did you get help on the 17t? what MHD map did you use?
On facebook, group is called "N54 Upgraded Turbo Tuners" and I used the hybrid base map
Would the 19t still fit with the oem downpips? And which inlets would fit the 19t?
The downpipes would but not the inlets
ARE THE TURBOS STILL GOING STRONG…
yep they're still strong!
How did u get the MHD hybrid map??
Hey, it’s on one of the n54 forums. Totally free but you will need to purchase MHD itself
@@Azizdesign_ I have the MHD license already, so I just need download the the map? Please send me the forum I would appreciate it bro
@@mot8862 I can't seem to find it currently, but ill encourage you to join the "17-19t tuners n54 group on FB and they'll provide it to you!
R u on oem spark plugs or colder?
You need NGK 1-step colder plugs to run properly
Do all 335 have tubos
yep
how many miles on turbos?
So far i've put around 5000kms on them
The ecu didnt malfunction?
Cuz i wanna upgrade
Nope it did not, though make sure you get a tune for the long run

Terrible reviews on that turbolab America.
