I am a nurse in Scotland. I would say that if you want to say good bye to any of the nurses then send them a card. I still get cards from people who I cared for 20 years ago. I love it. It means so much to know what I have done has helped. I would imagine your nurses would feel the same too. I have a big bag full of cards that I have kept over the years. I have never thrown a single one out. Every now and then I like to look back and remember all the lovely people that I have met. Don't buy gifts, a simple card and some kind words go a long way. You are going through a journey. There will be bumps and smooth times too. Don't stress about school. Take each day as it comes. I can understand you feeling sad knowing that your ex has been travelling and doing the things you want to do. There is nothing you can do about that just now, save your energy and allow your self to feel the love that the world has for you. You have a strong fighting spirit. I can see it . Focus on today and don't worry about tomorrow. You are a wonderful human being. I have subscribed and I look forward to going on this journey with you. I believe that you will do wonderful things. ❤

As someone with a disabling chronic illness, I just wanted to say that remember that you are allowed to have bad days. Your situation is tough and you are valid in feeling sad and angry about things. Sometimes a sulk, cry or day in bed helps. Just make sure you take care of yourself too. And remember others care about you too. (No need to respond to me unless you want to :) )
I must say I was so happy to see your beautiful face this morning it seriously brought joy in me. I have been praying for you everyday hoping to see an upload of yours I was concerned but it brought peace to my heart to see you🙏🙌. I'm in agreement with everybody else's comments we ate with you and praying for you. Oh and I am rooting for you to reach your 100k subscribers but more so for your health 🙏.

But you have also embarked on a journey: Your experiences with cancer, chemotherapy and COVID will change you and make you an incredibly strong and smart woman.
When you are well again, you will travel to New Zealand and Canada with your wealth of experience and you will appreciate these journeys and life a thousand times more than anyone else.

Dont apologise for any thoughts....negative or not. Your brain is going haywire with all sorts of things. I'm just a 53 year old man who supported his wife through breast cancer last year. I have a daughter (30) and a son (27). The very notion of either of them facing the battle that are undertaking is soul destroying. I've watched this journey from the outset. I have no real connection with you, as non of the other commenters have. But we're all pulling for you. You are not alone. We may appear to be faceless contributors but believe me....if we could "send strength " we would. Keep strong, beautiful girl. You can do this.
I'm a 66 year old male found out I had a mutation on my gene had my left breast removed last year taking shots for prostate cancer also watching for pancreas and skin cancers since your wife had breast cancer have your children genetic tested my father died at 52 with brain tumor thought I would get cancer but to know when God Bless

I totally understand the overwhelming feeling of being tied down to an illness. I have genetic emphysema & today I’m getting my portable oxygen so I can start exercising without passing out. I get very sad & angry seeing everybody’s life continue on while I’m forever locked down with my failing lungs but with the bad days there is also really good ones too. This Journey that you are sharing is far more important than any travel vlog will ever be. Thank you so much for sharing your strength, your encouragement & your experience with us! 🤗💜

@@jismy012 It took emphysema showing up in my lungs before they did a test for Alpha 1. I complained for years of not being able to breathe & they kept brushing me off. Keep trying to find a good doctor & don’t give up cause you know your body the best.

Have your tears, have your moments, but know this.....one day you will feel better. Allow yourself that time, and know you are not alone.

Girlie I’m right there with ya on being busy, since being diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer I’ve been so behind on my own cancer journey videos but working on some editing today. I just recently lost all my hair and have filmed that as well. It sure was a hard time but I made lite of the situation but inside I was crushed. I'm watching this in the waiting area of the radiology department, waiting to find out if my cancer is back. Something about seeing you dealing so well with your situation makes me feel much much better. I can't thank you enough for sharing hour story, warts and all. It helps more than you can possibly imagine.
And for the record, the fact others are going through the same types of covid related hassles does not, in any way, mean you lose the right to be struggling with it.

Mourning your old life is completely natural. Everyone who is sick regardless of the type of illness goes through this. I know I did and I still do. I get angry and upset. While I’m so happy for my friend’s succeeding in life, I still have “what if” moments - “what if I never got ill?” “What if I could work and have money and buy nice things and....so on”. Just remember, it’s ok to cry, scream and yell, whenever necessary. It’s just part of the journey. ❤️
Oh Romee, when I had chemo I had some of the same feelings. I felt like the world was continuing on without me. I would get so sad at just seeing cars drive past my house. I wanted to feel normal and be out living. You continue to make goals for yourself. My oncologist told me that was important and to know in my heart that I would achieve them . You have to have a reason to fight. I truly believe that you will overcome this. One day you will be traveling again and posting those videos. Please know that its okay to have the bad days. There will be better days. Keep that beautiful smile sweet girl.
It is so good you find yourself able to be honest. Some of us feel pretty awful in lockdown without your health issues. Well done. It will get so much better.

Having cancer at any age is overwhelming but probably more so in your 20’s when you are supposed to be enjoying your life as an independent adult. You will have your ups and downs but it will get better. Have faith in your doctors and in your treatment. Best wishes from Canada.

Hey Romee,
My cousin was diagnosed with brain tumor last year, he was at that time 10 years old and had multiple seizures and all that. 4 months after the diagnose he received chemo as well, you know probably that tumors are treated differently according to their size and region, that's why he first got operated and received radiotherapy and chemo both.
So his doctors took an MRI after 3 months of his chemo as well and because we have a radiologist in our family we sent him his results which we brought from the hospital home. Well because the visit with our oncologist was 2 days later we let him analyze the results.
And he told us straight that nothing changed- remnants of the tm were still in his brain, his tumor had spread down his spine and even them didn't got smaller or anything.
To make a long story short, when they had their visit the oncologist said that its a good sign bc if it heals slow it means the tm won't come back so easy:)
Im sure you receive the best treatment there in Netherlands but I would be curious if its the same logic behind your MRI:)

Hang in there...I had strong chemo 7 years ago for Aggressive Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. So many ups and downs like a roller coaster. I never thought I would feel better but I finally did. It feels like the world is passing you by....but it will still be there when you complete treatment.
Romee, you are so mature and wise beyond your age. You also have such a soft kindness about you that just makes me want to be your friend!!! All of this combined with your incredible strength and lust for living will be the reason you smash every goal you have intended for 2021 and beyond! I’ve been watching you for some time now, in sickness and in health and I’m just proud of how you are handling your diagnosis.
