I live in South Georgia and the hurricane went over our little town and we had no power for over a week... my Harbor Freight lights were great... As soon as we got power back on and the roads were cleared, I hit HB and got the 9500-inverter generator two 100 ft 10-gauge extension cords... more lights... Storage boxes... Harbor Freight is a great place to go for the prices...
FYI, Lowes has a 20 piece Kobalt set on sale till Feb 2 I think it is. 10 metric, 10 SAE, regularly $100, on sale for $65. I like my two 7 piece Pittsburgh sets (just a DIY guy here, not a pro) but I like that the Kobalt has less skips and includes a 16 and 18mm. Buying the singles are between $15 to $20 it seems, I might just get the whole set for a few bucks more.
I used the 15% Off on the 'kits' and saved a nice amount. I also used one on a clearance item, and got the 2-year warranty for when it craps out. I'll be getting a new updated tool in 2 years, right before the warranty expires. I like the way they do these percent off coupons now, with few or NO exceptions.
I used to buy a lot of funnels every time I'm in Walmart or HF and I'm still buying sometimes, because when I need it I don't have it, but what I do usually is find a soda bottle cut it in the bottom and use it as a funnel
That battery 10 inch chain saw is bad ass. I have used mine alot cutting fire wood and cut trees out of the trails on our mountain trails. I bought a plastic battery conversion thing so I can run Hercules and Dewalt battery's on it.
Happy New Year! 15% didn't get me out of the house & those deals will not get me in the store unless I need something. I'm a Harbor Freight fan and only wish the Hercules line had come out earlier because I don't need a third battery line of equipment. I already have many of the Bauer tools and use them. Thanks Bear for all your info!
Those zipper pouches are great and a great price. I was buying Husky for about double the price. I use them for all kinds of things. My favorite use was for a manual stable gun and various boxes of staples. They all fit in there nice and neat . Makes it an easy grab and go or if you are lending it to someone.
I own the Daytona pro racing series aluminum. It's handled all sorts of projects that it was never designed for over last 2 years and it keeps going. The trucks and axles are made of steel so make sure to keep rust off
Please do a review of the HyperTough 3/8" regular and extended reach ratchets. HF has moved so far up the price ladder that they have nothing that competes with this. For a DIYer who would only occasionally use an extended reach ratchet for car stuff, $100 for Hercules tool-only extended reach ratchet is just not price competitive with HT $60 ext reach ratchet kit.
The 8 gallon compressors are good for framing and roofing crews running 4 to 6 nailers. The 3 gallon pancake or hotdog compressors can't keep up, and 20+ gallon compressors are way overkill. Also, with the drop in temps I had to add air to tires on 2 cars. I should have used the 8 gallon compressor, because I had to wait for the hotdog to refill. Too cold out for that waiting crap.
hack for us when the little gray and red led corded work light was on sale i bought it and replaced the feet with there 5 in? magnet works good but if you stick the magnet to good it will bend the frame!
i used the 15% off for the drill and driver hercules kit. Been waiting to get it for a while, but there was never any sales on it. 15% of anything comes in handy for those items that are just never on sale.
I have the Doyle 10" adjustable wrench. Bought it to replace my 90's era Craftsman that I gave away. I am disappointed in the Doyle, the jaw is sloppy, but I have managed to make it usable.
I knew HF would have a New Year's % coupon. I was hoping for 20%, but 15% worked. On Friday, I went and got the 7HP plate compactor. There's a Super Coupon for it. But the 15% off, took it down to $594. With tax, it came out to $630, which is the same amount as the Super Coupon without tax
I'd been holding out on buying a new floor jack, but this sale was the last straw. I just picked up the Daytona low profile, high reach 3 ton jack, and it's probably 6" taller than my old Craftsman from the 90s.
I have one of the Cen-Tech battery maintainers on my lawn tractor, it seems to be doing ok so far, but the Viking 1.5amp maintainer is what I have on my pickup and I'd recommend the Viking, you pay about 4x more but it seems like a much better maintainer, and it also comes with a mounting bracket to permanently mount it on a vehicle or boat, etc. The little Cen-Tech would be ok for like an ATV, lawn tractor type application I think but I don't think for long term on a vehicle it would last, I tried one on my pickup and it didn't last long at all LOL. I have the 29 Gallon belt drive oil lubed air compressor it works great for everything I need it for, and for air tools it does fine too....those oil free compressors don't last long especially for cold weather use, most won't even start in cold weather. The new version of the air compressor I have, has a smaller motor on it. I wish they'd offer something like a 40 or 60 gallon stationary air compressor with a 2 stage pump with a 220/240 volt motor.
I got one of those small pancake compressor at Lowes last week for $40. My go to is a 33 gallon craftsman oil type, but I can throw the mini in the shed to take care of tractor tires etc instead of running out 200' of hose.
Jeff, have you seen the new Bauer dust collection system? Looks really nice, thinking of replacing my central machinery one with it. And plans for a review?
I bought the Warrior heat gun on an impulse buy a few years ago after watching a video of a guy starting his grilling coals with one. I waited a few months to use it. It quit working after a few minutes and outside of the warranty. I am going to a better brand next time.
They have a Bauer 3,000PSI electric pressure washer now for $400...thinking of getting one, the pressure washer I have now is an AR Blue Clean brand but its only an 1800PSI, I'd like to have the higher pressure one so I can use a floor scrubber attachment and other attachments that require more pressure....the low pressure one is great for the cars and siding on the house type stuff but when you need the pressure for other attachments the 1800psi just isn't enough.
Hey Jeff. Thanks for sharing this. When you're going to be scrolling through a web page, please hide your video feed. That way you don't cover 1/3 of the content for most of the video.
Do you have any insight on if bauer will offer a multi tool bundle in brushless? I almost pulled the trigger until I noticed the drill and impact where the brushed model. I don’t want to kick myself for not waiting for the new version
Red, can you stack HF deals and discounts if they aren't specifically forbidden? I recently noted that a product normally priced at $25 was reduced to $19.99. At the same time, there was a percentage coupon for any item priced under $20. I could not use the coupon on the reduced item. Was the clerk correct?
They do not allow stacking of coupons. The only stacked discount is adding the credit card discount. There was a single exception to this last year, so we might see coupons coming out, saying specifically that they can be stacked.
Bro. I'm sure the bear jokes are lost on most at this point. Happy New Year, North American Tool Bear. I wish you would spend that money for the bear skin. He's a lot better looking than this current skin you've been using.

Same here from South of Savannah
Battery Tender is the brand.
Don't worry Bear...the second thing that stops working as you get older is your memory. I don't remember what number one is.
Best deal was that 30% off $20 or less sale... definitely capitalized on that
Indeed! Stocked up on those new Grants polishing pads.
Some guys bald head is blocking the left side of the picture.
I keep asking when will the discount on tool bear be? I can never find a big bald tool guy in stock anywhere!
I'm hoping for some Icon box end ratcheting wrenches to go on sale.
You probably missed the boat on that one. They were 40% off last month.
@@zombiehuntingrocker Dang it. I've been trying to keep an eye for a sale on them, but I got busy with shopping for others.
I got my set.. they are very nice

Thawed out my washer fluid lines the other day in zero degree weather with that 10 dollar heat gun.Worked perfect, only took 5 minutes..

Interesting
@Army_Of_Juan I have had to buy a few replacement chains for it and resharp them. But the battery life is better than I thought it would be.
I have it too, but I think its just okay. I constantly have to keep adjusting the chain on it, but maybe I’m using it wrong
I want one. Been eyeing it for a few weeks.
I miss the talking bear. Bring him back.
He said he can't.
Why not?

I'm am engineer at a big us tech company, I'm sure there are other developers here that would like to help make a DoT Bear avatar original IP
Thanks Jeff. I always like seeing the deals because at times I don't know I need something until I see it on sale. 😃😃❤❤
Happy New Year!

It may be a small detail, but I like that you said "Your next big deals are going to be end of March or beginning of April." 👍
Happy New Year Tool Bear!!!! LOL
Jeff Happy New Year. If you see Red the Bear pass on the happy new year message🤣
Happy New Year Bear!!! We love you.
I own the Daytona pro racing series aluminum. It's handled all sorts of projects that it was never designed for over last 2 years and it keeps going. The trucks and axles are made of steel so make sure to keep rust off
Not terrible, not to bad, not a bad day to see the bear :) happy new years to you and your family!
Finally got the series 3 cabinet. Got the 27 inch cabinet. It's nice
For me.. Trickle charging is from TOPDON
I got the icon t7 scan tool on sale with inside track. Can’t wait to test it out tomorrow!
I recommend ctek battery chargers/ tenders which can also do reconditioning (desulfuring). It supports normal lead acid and glass mat as well.
Great video Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year to you and your family 🎉🍾🎊🍻

Get the hercules blower. Much better and 5 year warranty

I'm disappointed that there was not much in the way of deals on Bauer on black Friday. I want the Bauer pole saw but it's never on sale.
@johnivill1974 I bought the portland pole saw about 5 years ago and beat the piss out of it, still works great. Money well spent.
Bought the mini toolbox yesterday

Is the 25% off itc coupon still a thing? I have had itc for 2 years now and haven't received even one
The core master set should have included a every Icon set of pliers… they skimped.
Battery Tender--green and black
Yes the one he is talking about is made by Deltran, I have one they are the best.
Black and Gray NOCO with desulfate cycling
Still no new trailer
Can we use the 15% on the miter saw? that will be less than $300
No, you can’t coupons. The only savings you can stack is the discount from the credit card
15% off the retail of $349.99 still brings it down to $297.50.
Winter just started in the south
When is the Daytona metallic green floor jack coming out?
I was at harbor freight on the 1st asked for 15% off he said no. they suck
DELTRAN battery tender is the best.
better than NOCO?
Victron is pretty impressive, especially if you also have Lithium in the mix
you use the agre is for ice fishing
Hope the 56" top chest goes on sale
Me to, but I'm thinking about 2 27's almost same space for $100.00 cheaper. So either 1 needs to go on sale
Any word on when the icon 3/4 stuff will be released?
Happy New Year to you and your family, Bear.

Happy New Year, North American Tool Bear. I wish you would spend that money for the bear skin. He's a lot better looking than this current skin you've been using.

Dang, forget about 15% off the new 5x10 trailer which still seems to be MIA.

There nothing for me to buy at hf 😢
I naught the Brain light and it worked about 12 times. Total junk

Maybe if it were 50%, but only 15? Nah
Stop consuming. If you feel the need to absolutely buy something, go buy some gold or silver.
You don’t want the green house trust me it’s short lifespan

oil free is great if you don't run it all day, every day
I’d never get oil free personally, it just makes sense that oil is better
