- The next Jeeps to join the automaker’s lineup of SUVs are the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer: powerful three-row, body-on-frame SUVs. And, while both trace their lineage back to the last Jeep Wagoneer, neither one will wear a single Jeep badge.
Instead, Jeep is creating the Wagoneer sub-brand -- similar to Hyundai and Genesis -- that will develop into, in Jeep’s words, “a portfolio of vehicles that redefines ‘American premium.’” The Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer will open that portfolio, with the Wagoneer targeting less-premium three-row SUVs while the Grand Wagoneer will try to live up to the “Grand” billing and go after luxury SUVs from domestic and foreign automakers.

All right! Soccer moms and pretentious millennials everywhere will now be able to tow all the “woke” they collect! Few…ver few…will ever tow a damn thing. This truck has no target audience for the price it’s set at. Like the Durango and compass…still just plastic crap. I give these models 5 years and they will discontinue . Market is changing and they don’t want this…especially from Jeep.

When i seen the 2019 ram i said GM and ford better hope FCA doesn't make a fullsize body on frame suv!! Now they better hope they don't make a dodge or Chrysler version or they are gonna lose serious market share!!!

Those Cadalic are super luxury, GM ok. I want to know what can the Jeep do offroad the Wagoneer and will a wood trim be an option, maybe not in today's world, like a Blazer and no 4 by 4 by Chevy.
I bought into the idea of creating a separate luxury division for the Grand Wagoneer and segregating it from the usual Jeep lineup. That is until the similarly designed Jeep Grand Cherokee L debuted. The distinction between the two brands instantly vanished. I was really looking forward to purchasing a Grand Wagoneer. However, I'm not paying 100,000+ for a car that looks like a larger version of a Jeep that could be purchased for 70,000 less. Who would?
I would buy it if I knew that a even more expensive version would be in existence. Like if the normal Wagoneer had a lot of price ranges, G.Wagoneer had only three trims and the upmost luxurious version be made by Chrysler.
This way, the Chrysler variant would be like a poor man's Rolls Royce, G.Wagoneer would compete with the abundant luxury brands and certain legend models of SUVs and the normal Wagoneer would constantly fire at the GMCs, Chevrolet and Ford full-size SUVs without making a Suburban/Expedition XL type models.

I would like to know if I the customer wants to spend a 100k, I'm sure I'm looking for something very unique, something special, but if wagoner and even the cheaper Jeep Grand Cherokee L looks like my 100k car..... That just takes away from it's alure.
Even though I personally love the grand Wagoner..... I would rather spend the money on the new Hummer or something else that is limited and unique. Just my 2 cents

C. Sold by Jeep but will never be called Jeep.

Oh, this is a Wagoneer, not a Jeep, like a Ram, not a Dodge, come on we know they are. This is about as crazy as the Chevy Blazer no 4 by 4 being offered.

Both vehicles are disgustingly large $60-$90,000 for a vehicle that is completely unnecessary gas should go back up to five dollars a gallon so cars can get small again I thought we were all over this with the introduction of smaller vehicles but now they’ve been discontinued I’m right back where we started from what a waste

I believe it’s a couple of inches bigger than the Tahoe but smaller then the Suburban.
Four inches longer than Tahoe and a few inches shorter than the suburban but heavier than both.

Someone explain this to me, Wagoneer is Jeeps sub brand? Or is it considered a Jeep? Also what’s the point of having a Grand Cherokee L if the Wagoneer is going to be a 3 row Jeep.
Think of The grand Cherokee L as a Chevy traverse then the Wagoneer as the Tahoe the grand wagoneer as the Escalade. Type of deal

I'm disappointed w/ the exterior of the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer. While the interior looks promising, the exterior is disappointing. It doesn't resemble what I remember of the Grand Wagoneer. You can look at the 4th generation Range Rover, without badging you can see that it is a Range Rover. I was hoping the same for the Grand Wagoneer. To add, window between B/C pillar is off to me.
All for a low price of $100k
i take a new GC L, fully loaded and save myself 30 Grand.
The new Grand Cherokee rides on an Alfa platform tho. I wonder just how 'Jeep' they can make it.

EV cars are nothing but useless considerating that it take 2 hours to charge and can't go long distances.
Grand wagoneer with 6.4 liter engine 0 to 60 is 6.2 seconds? I will keep my 2018 GMC Yukon Denali with the 6.2 liter engine that does it in 5.5 seconds. My only complaint is my truck feels sluggish so I can imagine how slow this thing will feel.
They better lease good or else ill be getting a tahoe lol

As an owner of a Just eMPTY eVERY pOCKET (2011 Grand Cherokee) I have put a lot of money into repairs and I will still continue to put big bucks into upcoming repairs.
However, the Jeep Renegade is built by Fix It Again Tony (FIAT 500) and FIAT owns Chrysler so quality of their vehicles isn’t as good as it used to be.
I do enjoy owning my Jeep (when I don’t have to put big bucks towards repairs) and since I own it outright, I can park it until I can afford repairs.
Also, it’s cheaper to repair it as opposed to replacing it with a newer model.
