Ok I weighed 260 pounds in 2016. I'm 5'5. I hate salads and that's what all dietitians say you can eat the most! Watching tv back in January of 2016 with all those diet programs advertising food I didn't like. It hit me! I made a list of all the foods I like that are good for me and ate those. It worked! I'm now 166. Went from a size 50 to size 34. Went from 3xl to xl. My blood pressure, cholesterol, and sugar are all normal. I have kept it off for 4 years now. For the record I do like vegetables just not salads lol

My favorite tofu recipe is cherry bbq tofu. For that recipe I use extra firm tofu drained and pressed to get as much water out as possible. BBQ seasoning bbq sauce (jack teagues made a sauce is the best lol) frozen cherries (with a little water in a bowl to thaw the cherries). Cut tofu into cubes and season heavily with bbq seasoning. Pop in air fryer 350 for 10-15 minutes shaking to get it crisp all over. While it cooks mix the thawed cherries and bbq sauce together taste and add sugar if needed. When tofu is done remove and add to sauce. Stir to thoroughly coat and serve. Sometimes if I’m craving crunch I’ll add some pecans to it. Super yummy!

Great video! We make air fried tofu a lot, and I am an avowed carnivore. It is a nice break from meat and still provides us with tons of protein, but from a plant source instead of a meat source. Cathy, I hope you make this again and show us what your kids think of it.

I made the crispy chickpeas for my salad today and I loved them! And I am a big crouton girl and these won me over so delicious! Got my tofu and ready to try the sushi. I used to make crispy tofu years ago and this reminded me to try again! Thanks for a great video

Game changer!! I've been looking for a doable way to eat healthy. Too many of us are not taking good enough care of ourselves. You take the fear of failure out when you break it down like that, and make it look enjoyable. I binge watch the air fryer videos, and excited to try the "green" versions. The work you're doing is important and highly appreciated. Thank you. ( I wouldn't be mad if you made more of these😅).

Traditionally you'd toast the Nori first over a hot burner - gives it a little crunch. And make 'sushi rice' with mirin and rice vinegar - makes it more manageable and tasty.

Ooooooh, thank you thank you thank you thank you for this video!!! When I was in college, the cafeteria did some really nice tofu recipes (well, at least I liked them), and I've tried to cook tofu on and off ever since, generally with disappointing results. When I bought my air fryer, I just knew there had to be a way to use it to cook tofu, and you and Ali just showed me how. I can hardly wait to give these recipes a try!
I only have one question: All the recipes I've ever seen for tofu call for extra firm tofu. What are firm, regular and silken tofu used for?

Not been proven in any capacity, more hormones and estrogen actually come from dairy and the injections they give the livestock. If you look at the "studies" often they were paid for by the meat or dairy industry. That's the problem with a lot of this stuff, we are facing against a billion dollar industry that has spent decades lying to us. Having said that, as with anything, some people it just doesn't go well with their body. Everyone's different
