I purchased this machine, ResMed 11 and love, love , love it! I also love the app that allows you to keep up each nights sleep! The only thing I am missing is a way to connect to my SoClean Cleaner! They need to come up with an adapter water chamber to connect the so clean too! But, other than that little problem, it is wonderful! Very happy!
@@Carlm40 no offense, but I don’t think the problem is with ResMed machines but Phillips has the problem with their machine insides! I had a Phillips before and have a claim on it as we speak!
How does the Warmup feature work? What I notice is that I turn on the Warmup mode by pressing the touchscreen toggle and the little orange warming icon comes on (on top right of screen). But, the problem is that the orange icon goes out once I put on the mask to begin therapy and the autostart kicks in. I assume that means the warmup stops? Should I wait several minutes after turning Warmup on, before beginning sleep therapy, to ensure that the Warmup completes? Also, another question. Is,there any way to get the screen to stay on longer?
Warmup does not stop when you're using therapy. Warmup is designed to be a "pre-heating" feature. I believe the full duration of Warmup is 15 minutes. Once the device is running, the humidifier continues heating up the chamber to produce moisture.
Sooo in exchange for Resmed et al, harvesting my data, which I'm sure is not limited to clinical data but includes everything android/ios allows the app to access, what do I get in return? Plattitudes and canned sugestions?
I might need to stop the smart start due to restrictions in Sabbath, where I cannot control electronics on that day; display not a problem! When I use smart start, I’m activating the device (thus electricity to heat water), Friday night. If I disable the auto start, that’s not enough because I cannot manually push the on button either. Wondering, if I put a timer, if it will remember my previous settings of not using auto smart and therefore turn on on its own or not? If not, I’ll need to turn on before sunset and than might not get benefits throughout the night. I understand it a mouthful but if anyone understands, please chime in. I appreciate it greatly!
@@chaimbochner7474 Yes it is safe. As a matter of fact, I have many patients that don't use PAP therapy on the weekends to give their face a break from the mask.
The best explanation I have had on regard to this type o CPAP machine. Thank you,

My doctor said they don't recommend using the soybean machine. It breaks down the plastic inside the machine.

Consider getting a CPAP device without a wireless modem in it. Transcend by Somnetics is a good option.
Very helpful
Very informative. Thanks

It sounds like you should not use it at all on Sabbath days. Consider it as your body resting from CPAP on the "day of rest". :)
@@sergemukha806 Is it safe to continuously stop using it every week?

One part of this new machine is no more red or happy face to tell me how things went
I liked that
This time around ResMed spells it out, and if the masks leaks it directs you to the built-in "Mask Fit" test.
The pressure is too high
You should reach out to your treating physician and in most cases the doctor can adjust the settings remotely.
very helpful. Thanks.
