The 21 XRC would benefit from a IBEXX stage 3 clutch kit, lower engagement, smoother take off, made for rock climbing and more belt squeeze at lower speeds. ideal for bigger tires.
@@mittenmotorsports it`s not just for rocks, it`s for every type of riding, just excels in rocks and bigger tires. i have the stage 3 kit and i don`t ride rocks, more throttle response, lower engagement, better back shifting. over all improvement.
I have the stock magneto. With the audio roof turned up, the lightbar and rock lights on it does not go under 13.8-13.7. I don’t worry about it. Bigger system, bigger light bar, more rock lights, helmet pumper, S&B particle separator then maybe you might want to consider upgrading.
What is considered a high belt temp, gotta 22 xrs max rr was at the dunes bout mid 70s outside running fairly hard with 4 lg adults and the highest temp i saw was 115 on the belt…
So I believe the stock belt temp gauge is an ambient temp gauge so it only reads the temp of the air in the housing. On the aftermarket side they use a laser to read the actual temp of the belt by drilling a hole in the case and pointing the laser at the belt. So to answer your question I’m going to go out on a limb and say if you’re using the stock belt temp gauge I wouldn’t wanna see it over 130*-150* and if you’re using an aftermarket gauge I wouldn’t want to see it over 225*-235*. Rock mode progressively engages 4X4 depending on engine torque and throttle position. Trail activ mode engages 4X4 progressively depending on engine torque and vehicle speed. I’m assuming rock mode turns 4x4 on if you’re climbing something and the machine is making a lot of torque and it reads you giving it more throttle to get over a rock. I’m also assuming trail activ engages 4x4 when going through a corner fast and spinning the tires. Hence it reading vehicle speed. In the end they both engage 4x4 just at different times. That’s my interpretation. 🤷🏻♂️

The instant engagement of the 22 clutch is definitely my favorite thing about it
It is very responsive and smooth!!

That is true if you’re dedicated to the rocks. We ride everything so Justin probably won’t hone his clutch in for just rocks.

@@brienhalverson1956 Very nice. We will look more into them.
Awesome rides. Are the lower radius rods on the xrc and thick in diameter as the 2022 xrs?
Both machines have 1.125” diameter lower radius rods.
However I do not know if the 22s are thicker without weighing them or cutting one open.
I liked this video because of the good doggo
Did you get a new alternator or considered a new one? I heard the stock ones are crap.

Do you think the rear double sheer knuckles would fit the 21RC?
I have read from other people that they fit with a small amount of grinding.

So what exactly does rock mode do? I’m still a bit confused on all that 😅😅

Since you spent the time to make the video, perhaps it would be nice if you were sure of the data.
Which data?
Xrc 2022 or xrs smart shox 2022?
Your choice for whatever riding you do.
