Great video ! I had a 2017 x3 max turbo r. And just picked up a 2022 x3 max turbo rr smart shock and it’s a beast . The comfort mode is just awesome when cruising back to camp after pushing it hard in the dunes.
Man I’ve had mine for a year now and at 2000miles,no issues at all❤️💪Got the same triple black max XRS RRS with a lot of add ons.Still stock motor and suspension though and never even broken a belt!
Do you do off-roading and trails with it or more like roads and desert more like the video? Just curious if Polaris would be better in the aspect of crawling and more off-road based stuff rather than racing down paths
Wish the 64" models came with the smart shocks. Replacing my 2020 Max RR with a 2022, expected in June. Curious to see how the p clutch is both in noise and engagement.
I own one of these. Shocks were AMAZING for the first 500 miles or so. Now either my skills have exceeded the shocks capability (highly unlikely) or they are already due for a rebuild. Although one of my friends seems to think it has something to due with the springs sagging.
They would first have to find a polaris that's not in the repair shop haha that brand has lost its MOJO they definitely need to do better at building a reliable machine especially at top tier prices
No one knows yet. Given how broken and corrupt our legal system is I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if Polaris paid their way through for Ontario. If it gets a new classification the ability to make it road legal should be in the papers.
It's a really big machine. 72 inches wide and longer due to it being a Max, plus 200 hp. All really awesome features and I don't know what type of trails you ride but I would guess there's something else in canam's lineup that might be more suitable for trail riding.
Suggestions?? Looking to retire summer 2022 and move to AZ. Would like to get something for me and the Mrs. Nothing hard-core just something to cruise the desert and have some fun.
A 4 Seater side by side is like cooking …😂😂 mate, you are like Nigella Lawson of extreme sports… watching my cook a killer Parmesan Truffle pasta is about as extreme as a 4 seater side by side…. All that exists is me and my Parmesan truffle pasta…. 😂😂😂😂
The new Polaris rzr pro r just make these other brands look weak now they all have to step up their game there is a new sheriff in town rzr that's one bad mamajama
Saw one at glamis last weekend. Didn’t know they were for sale already. They are pretty bad ass for a stock unit. Don’t know if I would pay the cash for one, or own a Polaris product, but it looked pretty stout.
Until can am drops a bomb on the industry again. I also would be willing to bet the 2022 can am beats the rzr pro r in a drag race as is. . Frankly, like he said, the Can-Am’s engine and transmission are way more impressive than the rzr. For a 900 cc motor to be able to put down 200 hp and still be classified as a side by side is crazy. It would be the easy move to put a bigger motor in a sxs And I don’t know why everyone is so impressed by this thing. Rzr took the easy way out. Can-Am also has the rzr beat when it comes to power to weight. Sure, Can-Am could have put a four-cylinder in their sxs And takin the easy way out but no need….Until Polaris solves the reliability issue and completely knocks Can-Am off of the pedestal than I will be impressed. So far, not all that impressed
@@LegionofDune it's not only a bigger motor the whole RZR Pro is completely different suspension take a look very impressed and you're right Canadian Bacon needs or drop a new UTV even though Canadian bacon is ham lol but Polaris did a nice job on this new RZR but at the end of the day we're the ones who reap the benefits with their new UTV's coming out competition is a very good thing 😁

Appreciate that!!
I'm waiting for my 2022 X RS 2 seater w Smart Shox, can't wait. Probably won't see it until March though.
Just got the max ds rr the clutch is such a big difference so much quieter and more responsive and the power is crazy .
Well done, sir! Extremely informative.
Thank you kindly!
On my way to order a 2023! I'm sold
Awesome!

Very nice 👍
100% the springs, a VERY well known issue on Can-Am X3's and even the Maverick/Commander line.
Great review as always. A head to head with the polaris pro xp 4 would be awesome. At the very least a drag race?! Give the people what they want 😅

This is hands down the best release if you like adrenaline 😎Love mine and a rush every time I need it💪❤️👍
I'm waiting for the xrsrrssrsssrrrs. Just under $125000 sticker but it has special rims.
“What’s around the next corner” someone in a Jeep
If it's over 2000 lbs and 1000cc's what would the unit be classified as? And did the 22 rr add any leg room by chance?
Rode in my Friends xr ds RR i got a adrenaline rush first time riding now i want one, don’t know if i want a 2 seater or 4🤔
Great video! Great edit! Great speech!
Can you add some commentary on the supposed 1000 cc limit for side by sides? How is Polaris getting around this with their new 2 liter engine?
I don't even think that DT knows the details yet. Polaris hasn't provided any information as to where it will be legal.

"What's around the next corner" you're doing 60mph around is a family of four out enjoying their last day alive.
Outstanding ! Sold...
Noob questions: I see it’s fast and controllable wide open on dirt roads. But does that translate to trails? Hill climbs? Rocks? Is it any good there?

WAS ABOUT TO SAY DID THE SXS JUST AUTO PRELOAD BEFORE THAT SMALL JUMP AT 3:15?
Awesome helpful video guys
That was a good one!! Hope you can get your hands on the 2022 max and see what happens
Are they more susceptible to rolling when doing donuts, and how can that be prevented or mitigated ?
Don't do donuts 🤷♂️
