- Hey all! This will be a longer video than usual. I share about my experience with having a total hysterectomy at age 32. Story starts at the 4:53 mark. I have been diagnosed with endometriosis, adenomyosis, and ovarian cysts. I'm only 7 days post-op right now, so this video will focus on what led up to the surgery, the surgery experience, and the first week of recovery.
Let me know if you're interested in more detailed updates on the recovery process or surgery experience. I'm an open book and willing to share more!
Also, I am hoping to share more about my vintage Coach bags in the coming months because I have been falling back in love with vintage Coach lately.

This was a super therapeutic story time/bag spa. It felt like you were describing my very situation. I have a feeling I’ll be getting this procedure done soon, so It’s nice to hear about someone else’s experience being positive (physically) yet complex (emotionally). Excited for your next pain free chapter and wishing you a speedy recovery.
Millie!!!, so happy that you are recovering nicely, I had similar procedure in my mid 30's as well and I can relate that it is not a joke,; only difference is I required an incision . I am sure I am not alone in wishing you the best and a speedy full recovery . Lot's of hugs and well wishes to you. Love your new Coach it is a true beauty!!! Thank you for including us and sharing as well..
Oh my! I've heard a few people say that happened to them and it sounds so intense! It is no joke for sure - I have to keep reminding myself of that when I stand up too fast 😂 I appreciate the support and well wishes ☺️❤️
Millie! Thank you so much for sharing your story! I’m so sorry you had to go through it, but I am so happy that you are starting to feel better. And I can understand that process of dealing and accepting the changes and consequences that happen to the woman’s body. I have been through pregnancy loss and learning I cannot carry a baby and it is indeed a process to grieve and accept. I know it is not the same thing, but I can really understand in some way. I too have lived my whole life with horrible Endometriosis pain. I am sending you positive healing vibes and a great big hug! And it was enjoyable to watch you hydrate your new bag too! 🫶🏼😘
I really do think there are a lot of similarities between our experiences even though they are also different in certain ways! Processing that in general I think is a hard thing for women in our society. I'm so sorry you have to deal with that pain too and I hope you can find some relief! Thank you for watching ☺️❤️❤️
Love the bag. Wishing you all the best with your recovery.
Thank you ❤❤
Thank you for sharing your story ❤ so important to talk about women’s health! You have also inspired me to condition my bags ❤
Thank you for watching! ☺ I hope your bag conditioning goes well ❤❤
thank you for sharing your experience as a woman in your thirties, you are not alone in your illnesses and thought process. May you heal well.
Thank you ❤❤ yes I've learned this is so common for many women regardless of age!
Glad you’re recovering! Wishing you continued strength and a smooth journey ahead! ❤
Thank you Ebony! ❤️❤️
I’m giving you a big hug Millie! Health is 100% the most important thing and thank you for sharing your journey. Thankful you won’t be in pain anymore.
The bag is stunning!
Thank you Julie ☺️❤️ I am very thankful too and looking forward to recovering! I may be falling down the rabbit hole of vintage Coach again haha
@@milliegalier yay!!
My favorite video from you ❤ so happy you shared. I had an emergency premature c section and can understand the processing of what just happened (and also not knowing or being able to say anything about it) just glad you are doing well after that. And also thanks for teaching me about leather restoration at the same time ❤
Aaaw thank you Dori 🥹❤️❤️ yes it is definitely something I will be processing for awhile. That sounds like a really stressful birthing experience - I have a close friend who had a similar experience. I'm glad you are okay too. 😅
Sending you love and hugs. Wishing you a speedy recovery. ❤
Thank you ❤️❤️
so glad you are doing better - ty for sharing ❤❤❤

Thank you madre ❤️
Sending you a big hug as you recover. I hope you get better soon. Watching you restore your bag was so relaxing. ❤
Oh I'm glad it was relaxing ☺️❤️ thank you!!
Hi Millie, I’m still watching the end of the video. The bag looks great! I had a radical hysterectomy because I had endometrial carcinosarcoma. My doctor tried to do the less invasive surgery, but my uterus was too big, so she ended up having to cut me and I have a bikini incision. I spent three days in the hospital and when I went home I was already feeling better except for the gassy feeling. Try not to drink anything carbonated or eat foods that will slow your bowels. Maybe TMI but that helps! I worked from home so I took three weeks off, and around that time I started to drive because I had no other way to get groceries or prescription refills since I live alone. Delivery could have been worse because they use as few bags as possible, so it was easier to make a few trips packed lightly than get two 30 lb bags delivered. Definitely rest as much as possible, and allow yourself to heal. I think your quality of life is really worth the stress of this surgery. Best of luck toward a speedy recovery!
Oh wow! Thank you for sharing your story Dawn. ❤️ They told me that was a risk with mine too. I think I heard you mention something about that in a live not too long ago. Yes, the gas pain was no joke the first few days. Lots of gas-x was used. 😂 I'm lucky to have my husband helping me with a lot, although it's been pretty entertaining watching him clean haha. Thank you for the advice and support! 🥰
@@milliegalier Remember, even if you feel better, don’t do too much!
Millie - wishing you a speedy recovery. What you’ve gone through is a lot, even though they didn’t have to cut it’s very painful. I too had endometriosis and cysts on my ovaries, I had a radical hysterectomy at 28. It’s such a relief to not be in pain all the time, I can relate to your story. Thanks for sharing, hope you’re getting better every day 😊
Thank you ☺️❤️❤️ wow that's wild! I'm learning these issues are a lot more common than I realized. It is definitely a relief! 😅
Love the bag. You did a great job conditioning.
Regarding surgery, day by day gets better. Quality of life is improved so much. Take care of yourself. Glad to hear your feeling better. ❤
Thank you Millisa ☺️❤️ I'm excited to see how this looks after a couple rounds of conditioning. And 100% agree about quality of life; very excited about continuing on the recovery process! 😅
