@shawnmayer7849 I understand where you are coming from. But be realistic what other events could have gone through for this kitten to be there other than abandoning it there?
We got our third cat in a similar fashion-I was working in my front flower garden when this little tuxedo kitten came wandering up to me wanting food and attention. We realized he was lost, and took him in (we kept him in quarantine in the guest bathroom because we have two other cats), and our older daughter posted his picture and details about how he was found on the local Lost/Found Pets page on Facebook hoping to find his humans. Nobody came forward, so we suspected he’d been abandoned. By that point, he’d passed his FLV/FIV test and gotten a vet checkup and his shots, so we were able to take him out of quarantine and let him join the family. Our older daughter named him Eragon because his copper eyes resemble those of the dragon in the movie, and he now tips the scales at 16 pounds, putting him solidly into “heater cat” territory! Videos of him and our other two cats (Chessie and Raven) can be found on my channel.
