One thing you need to understand quickly is that you WILL take damage during fights, you'll be driven mad if you try to make it out of encounters without loosing health. This ruined my first few times playing Selaco since I came from playing doom mods, but once I realized Selaco didn't play by those rules I enjoyed it a heck lot more.

I love the dead space method of navigation, it should be an option in every game; helps that you can always explore the side path easily because you know the way you're supposed to go!

After having watched literally every singly Selaco YT video that exists, I can say definitely that this video IS the not only the best (including Civvie's), but is the only one that matters for the game that MIGHT be the best ever...if you don't count all the other actual best games ever. 👍
This game looks so much better than something hyper realistic. If you like this check out Ion Fury, it's made with the duke nukem engine instead of doom, it's just as good if not better. Really cool secrets, and all the levels are connected, you can backtrack. Hedon Bloodrite is another one made with gzdoom.

Game plays nothing like a 2000s FPS game. It's literally another Doom 2 TCM using GZdoom. Better off buying Trepang 2. It actually plays like a 2000s FPS game and didn't release in Early Access like many indie FPS games.
