Hey JY, you know malenia, for the next boss you're going to fight, I want you to imagine Malenia and hear me out hear me out, without staggers and with magic spamming on a level like Renalla and attacks that hit the whole map like mohg.
Tips and things: 1. Try out the new Milady sword (not much of a tip but it’s cool and very good) 2. To defeat the huge fire guys you need to break both of its legs and then stance break him (the crit is the only way to defeat him) 3. Gather as many scadutree fragments as possible since your rune level won’t matter

Bro i got stuck in the Dancing Lion for almost 4 hours... and then another 3 hours on Rellana the second boss... XDXD This DLC is something else, everything hits harder than Malenia.

Also not to glaze myself but I melted that boss ngl lie like I was streaming with my friends while playing the dlc and one of them was like he's got 3 phases and skipped through all of them

The dancing lion is hard but mostly due to the camera. You probably would have beat him earlier if you weren’t also fighting the frames jittering and the camera to get into focus.
Yeah fromsoftware should have cooked the dlc a little longer. It will get fixed eventually but still those frames make the game look like it’s have a seizure. Also be aware that that knight boss your fighting now, and another boss saint bud, are a lot like Melina when it comes to aggressiveness. Just paste yourself and remember you got this. thank you for the vids. Editing takes a long ass time but you still pushing 👏
It was a struggle but honestly wasn’t too bad once I didn’t have to fight the camera. Just to give you a insight on how my mental health is I’m halfway through the dlc and so far the lion is the best part💀
You need to explore and gather more scadutree fragments. It is basically the new leveling system for the dlc, not doing so it's like going straight to Margit without leveling up: possible but tedious and unnecessary.

the dancing lion is indeed just two dudes in a costume, both of them are fully modeled underneath it and have proper animations for every move, ironically it's one of the last rememberance bosses i encountered in the dlc so i never had much trouble with it lol it's interesting how they decided to handle npc questlines in the dlc, many of them requiring you to summon them during boss fights lest you get the bad ending, but i guess this just means many bosses are intended to be taken on with a helper
which is annoying. I wish they would just balance their fights. I feel like nowadays fromsoft just goes for viral hard rather than balanced and engaging hard. I can't speak on sekiro but the difference between 80 percent of DS3 bosses and 80 percent of Elden Ring bosses are night and day
