    Here is a live trade example of me day trading /ES (S&P 500) futures. Contextually opening up in a supply zone however the buying activity was very strong indicating for myself to buy pullbacks/dips.
    I waited for a dip above 4299-94 to hold where bids can appear + at offer traders hitting the time and sales to get long targeting a high of day (HOD) break then 4326 supply zone/

    Carmine: “The market is not going to go straight up.”
    Market today: “Hold my beer.”
    This video is super useful. I was long basically right at the same time you were but I had a slightly worse entry. I shook myself out with slight profit but unfortunately missed the second entry cause I had to take the dog out. Knowing that I was having some of the same thoughts that you were at that time is super encouraging. Gives me hope that I’m on the path. Appreciate your work, brother.

    As soon as I get a few big projects off my plate, I’ll be looking into your course in late 2024.

    The only problematic thing for me on yr. entry was the chop situation that existed on that buy. I waited on the up move because the 1 minute candles were choppy. There was no full momentum on Time and Sales. It was back and forth. And I actually scalped a short on the dip..then the momentum really started and I got in long. You can see the solid candles. Time and Sales showed buys above ask and green flooding in. I just have that bias to not get in a chop. I don't like backup.

    Awesome trade Carmine
    How do you mentally deal with holding a trade that is green then turns red ?
    I have a problem of being up a few points then raising my stop to BE, getting stopped out and the trade ends up going my way

    • @carmine_rosato
      @carmine_rosato  7 місяців тому +6

      I do not let anything mentally effect me. Have a plan and follow that plan. Trade can’t always be green. Trade can’t always go straight in your favor. If you notice stopping out and then being correct, simply keep original stop loss and don’t boost it until you scale out (if you scale)

    • @carmine_rosato
      @carmine_rosato  7 місяців тому

      Id say this level is fairly small. Entry is simply finding buyers or sellers at my level of interest. It is not getting long or short just because we are at a level. OnceI get that confirmation then I look for where my analysis can be proven incorrect and thats where I place my stop loss. I aim for only 2:1 or better R:R

      Stocks are very volatile when liquidity is not there. The spread between each buyer in the Bids or the sellers in the Asks are wider. Add to that the quantities are lower, it doesn't take much for the price to zip quickly down and quickly up.
