**I recommend trading S&P 500 (SPY or /ES /MES)and NASDAQ (QQQ or /NQ /MNQ)
Highly liquid. Easier to read. Easier to chart. Easier to know when NOT to trade vs good opportunities. There ARE TONS of setups on a daily basis.
PRICE and VOLUME are the ONLY indicators you need.
They are the market itself, works very well with supply & demand imbalances.
Due to highly liquid nature, reading its order flow will provide a huge EDGE.

Only trade ES now. Removed all indicators and learned how to read volume and the market makes so much sense now. It’s the only way imo.

Sir, When trading emini SP do you look for confirmation from NQ,Dow, OR russell, Dax, at the same moment.If spike/fall is confirmed on 2 or 3 indices/futures at the same time, reliability of that analysis moves way higher from 50/50--if emini SP & Dow are moving together in lock step--then computer programs & big boys are in concert with your analysis?

Do you think Futures are better than Options for small accounts?
Question: Is theta a threat when the market is going in your direction with slow volatility? I have been in trades, where I'm in a trade. Market over all is going in my direction. However, volatility is low. The theta is killing my premiums so I get out. Sometime is 25 points lower from my entry. But later intraday the market moves in my direction again but without me. Going passed my exit and higher. Am I wrong for exiting early? I'm using 0 day expirations btw. Thank you.
Do you know the minimum amount for an account to trade micro futures with IBKR? What is the minimum to trade at least 10 micro contracts with IBKR. I have just been approved for an account but I only want to put in the minimum to trade 10 contracts at a time...

If i am starting with $2000, can I buy 1 or 2 SPY/QQQ contract? And I don’t want to put all that $2000 maybe $500 (capital usage) in SPY for example. I am newbie and don’t know how are those contracts so just asking how much I afford?
I also heard of MES MNQ.

you can trade SPY QQQ contracts for .30/.50 per contract. so $30 or $50 per contract. I recommend 1-3 contracts regardless of account size
Please paper trade first especially if you are a beginner.

I already do this was doing ok for a while than lost about 15-17 k in a three day period. While we were consolidating in the pennant we just broke before this massive rally started. Than overnight gaps two days in a row decided i would short and hold got hammered yesterday. Fonally bought a big /NQ near end of day tk make some profits back but i got a lot of work to do. Sucks ass.
Got greedy got too big with contracts trying to make back losses and was selling 4 /ES out the gate to try and make back losses and couldnt handle directional moves against me. Thibg is i could have won almost every trade i made , so dont let my post discourage anyone.

For noobs. X3 leverage funds are far better. Easier to understand and less room for errors (no gamma theta decay, no margin, etc.). They are so cheap per share too. 31 bucks for tqqq rn. You can day trade swing trade or hell even hold it super long term lol. Tqqq up 5.37% today vs qqq up 1.86%.
Leverage/large multipliers can easily destroy beginners with a lot of options strats and futures trading unless they're very very strict and quick to execute their risk management.
I only trade two tickers CL and ES

For someone who is brand new to trading does your course make recommendations on which brokerage and trackers to use? I did the tim sykes one and it isn't going very well because there are so many shitty stocks to watch and they move too fast. Also, I work during the day so most days I cannot watch the charts after the first 30 minutes to one hour.

If I buy a end of day call for $100 strike price and it expires out of the money ..is $100 the maximum I lose or would I realize losses ? I want to start buying calls but I also don’t want to lose “X” amounts of money. Thx.
