As always, thank you all so much for watching! Keep those comments coming. I make an effort to read all of them, and respond in some manner. And you have all caught stuff, and made us better players for it
At 57:35, Pierce resolves after applying cover, so one more damage to Strange. You can check at Attack timing chart, under dice modification step. Also injured Panther doesn’t count blanks on defence, he instead adds 2 defence dice for 2 Power.
For getting models to sit on those tough angles like the quinn jet we use blu-tak or any kind of putty on the bottom of the base to keep them from slipping off.
You made the right call with the question of Blade on the Quinjet. I love the piece but I hattttte having it that far on the board. I like having it in one of the corners as it looks cool but rarely gets in the way
That was excellent. Relatively new to the game and have been making my way through yours and others content. Have to say, that was the best game I've seen so far!
That blade position thing...you made the right call. The game is 2D top down...so only the actual outline of the Quinnjet matters. The physics of static models should not matter for these purposes. In fact even in the rules dont they just call for the "base" being able to fit ON the terrain? Nothing says that the model must be able to actually stay upright.
It definitely seemed like the most fair way to handle it at the time, as well, and since neither of us are really 'competitive' players, it felt better to play it that way, and keep things interesting
While watching your videos, which are always good, one questions keeps going over in my mind. Where did you get the really cool in scale Mystery Machine?
Great report as always! Just a thing, at around 27:00, when you wanted to push Dr Strange off the objective, you actually can, as you don’t count terrain the characters are already on when the push/throws start. Same when you want to throw someone of a car and such.
I love watching you guys play, cause its never just the top lists or characters. Would love to see you guys take on a Hydra vs Winter Guard game to see how the status cancel each other out.
Not gonna lie, the squad decisions are fascinating. I haven't actually seen Punisher before, and I honestly haven't seen much Midnight Sons, so this was a new experience!
Awesome game! The only thing I noticed that may have had an impact was Ghost Rider getting poisoned (I’m pretty confident he is immune to poison), but that looked like a really fun game. Also, love the new graphics between rounds!
I just went and checked, and you are absolutely right. A bit surprised Troope did not catch that on the card. Thanks for pointing that out! I am not sure how much the poison kept him down in the game, but who knows what an extra power here and there could have done.
Did Ghost Rider have enough power to Deal with the Devil? And also curious as to why Strange went after Captain America and not Bucky? Fun game. I played Midnight Sons on the weekend and kept forgetting hits!
Yeah, he was getting his power each time. As to why deal was not used, that is something I would need to ask Troope. As for strange and targeting options, I do not think either of us thought the series of events would go down the way the way they did, so it was a gamble
Yeah that was really a crazy last turn and Black Panther pusing Cap back onto the point was awesome. Re ghost rider I only asked as I didnt hear it mentioned,(might have missed it) but every time Strange rolled a shield!😂. Speaking of Stange in that last run he jumped down off the plane and went for Cap, if he had chased Bucky and done the one wound needed to daze him he could have stolen the Core back for his 2 pts! I find your games, and your interaction with Troope, really entertaining. Keep up the great work guys!
Glad you are enjoying the videos! The Panther/cap thing was crazy, as I had not realized until that point that it would work that way. As for chasing Cap with strange, I think Troope was thinking the odds of Bucky doing what he did was slim, and he had better chance at denying points the other venue (also, see the above cap/panther interaction, which neither of us realized at first).
When Iron Fist defended against Punisher at 19min he should have taken no damage since his MA is range 3 and so is Hipfire and there where more than enough blanks rolled
At the 1h9m marker it is determined that iron fist must take out black panther. I'm not sure how many damage panther had taken at this point, but if it's a linchpin attack/moment, stating the current condition of the character might be helpful. However, as panther makes his defense roll he rolls three dice and counts his blank, but as panther Is on his back side you either should not have counted that blank, or payed two power to roll five dice without blanks. Either way panther should have taken more damage at that crucial juncture. Not entirely sure if it would have been the difference of a win loss tho, cuz again I'm not sure of the total damage on panther at the time. On the plus side, good call on the blade rage earlier when dealing with the placement of the quin jet.

Good catch. For as much as we play, we still forget some things, sometimes.

Glad you enjoyed it! It definitely stands as one of our favourites as well

Walmart blind buy. Tried to find the product again since, and have been unable to, sadly
@@AegisbrandStudios Too bad, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

Hmm.... I think I might have gotten it mixed up with if the push ends with them hanging off the edge. Either way, thanks for calling that out!

I am sure we will see something like that. I want to get my Winter Guard on the table at some point soon

We try to play around with some off meta choices, and variety. Makes it interesting. And who knows, we may stumble upon a new combo
Awesome game!

Was Ghost rider getting his 1 power for every time one of his team was hurt by an attack?

Troope must have missed that, unfortunately. It happens sometimes
Troope also kept using range 3 for MK trowing cresents but it is R4. The only model who can rapid fire safely from stealth
Ghost Rider should take damage turn 1. He had a Core but didn't attack that turn.
Also Black Panther pushes even if he deals no damage
I totally glazed over that. Thanks!

I will definitely check out the time stamp. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. If shenanigans were had, we will make sure to do better!
Violent Steve is not an Avenger, so he could not have used Avengers Assemble
Well, damn! You are right, and that is totally on me
Enjoyed the game, thx for sharing!
