Great game. One note, when JUGGERNAUT threw Nebula into the dumpster the dumpster wouldn't get destroyed. You only destroyed terrain if the thrown character is larger. So you wouldn't have been able to give that extra 2 power around.
Good catch. For some reason we had it in our head that change was just for when terrain was thrown into terrain, and did not extend to the characters as well (as it once did).
As always, thanks for watching! Usual stuff applies, let us know what you liked and all that, or if we missed something, and hope to see you join the discussion at the After Action Report!
Cover granted by terrain (and some other instances) will be ignored if with range 2. There are some instances of cover, such as that granted by magnetic refraction, and rocket's innate cover, that do not have the range stipulation attached to it
12:30 Why did Priority not pass to the other Player? I was playing today with 4 Characters against 5. Priority passed him, me, him, me...and so on. Did we play it wrong? Does the team with the lesser characters keep it?
Priority passes based on who had the last activation of the round. So a player can have fewer characters, but if they had the final activation of the round, priority would pass to the other player. So, if someone has a particularly violent turn, and denies activations, it can impact the priority for the following round
Those Dark Dimension attack dice were not fair 😅😂 2 things I noticed this game, that could be good to know. Juggernauts superpower where he gets power after a move is only during his own activation, so it never triggers off of abilities or cards like Face Me. Second, Forefend only cares that the enemy finishes a move within 2, not what kind of move. So he could have hit Dormammu when he uses his Place, or even hit Nebula after Juggernaut threw her!
So, I do not recall Juggernaut getting power off any instance save when he did a move action. I will need to double check to make sure I did not screw up, but I am pretty confident about that. As for the forefront, good to know. I took movement to be advance/push, not place. Thanks for the tip
@@AegisbrandStudios you didn’t give him power for it, but you talked bout not knowing how it worked, so I just wanted to double check😅 Yeah, move that doesn’t specify Move action, is a normal move, push, throw or place. It’s why it can also be used by characters like Mysterio, Cassandra Nova or Rocket.
Ah, thanks for the clarification, then! Phew. Was concerned I inadvertently cheated him. One of the catches with being a couple weeks ahead, I forget some details of the game 🤣
Thanks for helping get me into the game!

Hey at 20:39 why did Magneto get to modify a defense die? You can’t claim cover if the attacker is within range 2

@@AegisbrandStudios ok thank you thats what i missed!
@@Syzl103 no worries! Cover is one of the more nebulous rules in the game, and I do not think they do a good job talking about it
Thanks for the upload! New player here. This gets me excited to play!
Glad to entertain! I hope you get the chance to roll dice soon!

@@AegisbrandStudios Thank you Very Much.
It's honestly really weird seeing the squads. Heimdallr in Brotherhood is jarring imo, and Strucker with Dormammu seems interesting. Good game imo.
I was trying something with Heimdall, and it really just did not work the way I thought it might

Fun game to watch. Congratulations to troop for finally getting a dark dimension win.
I was super happy for him!
