- I've done something stupid. I went out and bought a 2007 SsangYong Chairman ultra luxury full sized sedan with just 90,000kms on the clock and JUST $5200 AUD! In this video I will take you on a tour of my SsangYong Chairman, then we will introduce to Daddy Brand and take it to my mechanic to see what is wrong with it at first glance!

Technically an E Class from Wish lol. But anyway Dad bought a Musso new in 1997 with the same engine and he loved it.
I had one of these in New Zealand! It was the Korean embassy's diplomatic vehicle. Mine was the CM600L so was LWB and was even NZ New!!

You'll find that its a solidly built car remember back in the the 90s and prior Mercs were built like a vault and were far more reliable when engineers ran the show not bean counters which went down hill in the 2000s .Matt U can get a gigg driving for uber prestige with a uniform a suit and top hat

I do remember these as well as the Ssangyong Musso also licensed from MB older tech, and the Musso was purchased in MB dealership/s. I remember seeing it in the Kew dealership. Good work MB.
I think this one was actually based on the W210 and not the W124 because the front 'fender'? looks exactly like the W210. Just a thought.
@@michaelh4484 The body was designed specifically for chairman. So no body panels or interior are actually from MB. But yes the chassis is based on 210. Newer chairman used m113 V8 with 4matics.

Hey Matt, thanks for sharing ! Not too shabby for the money, I say. I often google importers of asian luxury cars/people movers. How did you get your Chairman into Oz? Does anyone have replacement parts? And is the sat nav / user manual in English? Being a knockoff Mercedes doesn't worry me one bit, but it sure looks like a comfy ride.

Great concept for a new style..Well Done Matt! Moving to Dubai where SUV's/4WD's rule the roads with cheap petrol (38cents per litre), I had the choice of buying the new JK 2-Door Wrangler. A friend suggested I should perhaps try the SsangYong Korrando, also a 2-Door model with the same Mercedes in-line 6 cylinder. After 2 minutes driving I was hooked. Owned it for 7 years and biggest enjoyment was it's premium interior and very gutsy performance. I still miss it!

I never scammed on Matt Brand for World of tanks if that's what you're suggesting. I always gave away what I said I would, and I was apart of the WoT CC program who often gave me the prizes to give away. But that was not sustainable to do giveaways because a lot of my subscribers were there just for giveaways, and never watched my videos! Won't make that mistake again!
