That 4 way steering was much better with the Benz perfect turn loop and centered it perfectly. The BMW almost hit the post and you would have to correct the pitch of the turn lol
Which would you pick, The New S-Class or The New Range Rover? Obviously, both vehicles stand different in terms of one being an SUV and the other a Sedan but, which one would be the better status symbol?🤔
Honest truth: the whole time the s class was on the video I was cool and at peace. Soon @ 0:48 when they unexpectedly switch to the bmw I was reminded of the toilet. You guys should indicators for viewers when you go from beautiful to ugly cars. Was not expecting that
Own the 7 series, but almost chose the S Class. Got back in an S Class again yesterday and realised I'd made the right choice. The BMW interior never gets old and the tech is just outstanding. The BMW also feels more connected to the road and is equally as smooth on the road, though both just waft along and the drive is just effortless. The BMW's design also grows on you, there's nothing quite like it on the road and people often comment on it. If you like understated however, the Mercedes is still a great choice. I may be in the minority, but after trying both I am more than happy I picked the 7 series, it's an incredible car to own.
BMW wins. Merc always look old school. BMWs always feel modern "james bond vibes" If u park both outside a nightclub or in the street. Everyone will gaze at the bmw. The bmw feels 'intimidating' in person. She's longer than the merc. Almost like a Rolls Royce. Thats luxury
You just prefer BMWs from your comment so you gonna be bias. The Merc looks much better and is more classy than the Bmw. The Bmw looks different, it looks somewhat robotic but the Merc is classy and elegant
Great content, I don’t believe the exterior of the BMW is appreciated much because it’s so new but when it comes to an overall vehicle, my vote goes to the BMW. Cheers.
Great video. That BMW 7 looks so ridiculous that in 2 years or less the depreciation will be also ridiculous. Look at Citroën C4 and there is the i7.😂.....WHILE Mercedes S Class is like a fine wine just gets better with time.

The benz won straight up. They are both designed to be comfortable. 1) The benz took a little longer to start because it was prioritizing comfort. 2) it took longer to stop for the same reason. Remember, the seats moved forward to reduce the harshness of the stop. And it worked.
Fun fact: In Dubai it's 2x more expensive to rent an S class with a chauffeur than a BMW 7 series. They all say that their customers prefer the S class hence why way more expensive. The display is also more pretty to look at
BMW woke up so late and now they're doing too much with the 7 Series trying to catch up but unfortunately the S Class is levels above it's almost impossible to compete, the amount of tech and designs they added to new 7 Series made it look like a gadget store instead of a flagship luxury limousine lol. And if someone is looking for a sporty limousine they'll go straight to an Audi dealership for an S8. No businessman or high profile politician is going to choose this gadget store instead of an S Class. But probably BMW is targeting streamers and influencers with this car
audi sportier than bmw? ahahah you don't know what you're talking about, in what exactly is mercedes levels above? the bmw drives way better, it's way better built and it doesn't squeak in the interior like mercedes, it has the best seats is any production car so you have no valid point whatsoever.. here in italy and europe in general bmw is outselling mercedes and audi in every category... must be a reason why. the m cars are levels above any amg or rs car from audi. just watch carwow videos and see who wins. the m5cs will destroy supercars. everybody has their taste but bmw is the best of them all. Kids dream of owning an M3 or M5 but no one dream of owning a 7 series. Meanwhile the S Class/Maybach is a status symbol. Thats the difference, BMW is literally just wasting time and energy in this lost battle instead of focusing on what they do best, making crazy M5

It finally seems like it went back in time to the early 2000s and then all of the Chris Bangle stuff that happened after that has been erased. it’s hard to argue with Mercedes. They are very conservative with the S class and the E class. They try to make really subtle changes because they do not want to lose their demographic. It’s always a safe choice and a very nice looking car but for some reason, the massive slab like angular looks of the seven just really appeal to me right now. I love the I7M60 with the m sport package. but I also just love boxy cars. Super subjective, but that’s just my opinion.

Had s560. Tested bmw i7 and s580. For me selecting i7 was simple. See it in person. Impressive. It’s a matter of preference. More tech and sporty -bmw, if you like traditional look and softer ride s580.
Mercedes is king of subtleties. Every Mercedes is built with this philosophy in mind. Those subtlties can be experienced but cannot be explained, and so you find yourself wondering why you like the car without being able to fully explain this. Subtleties make you forget how much you paid for the car. Every mercedes i have ever owned have this quality.
The new Mercedes as of post Covid has garbage quality, Mercedes owners love to live in their past, proof? G wagon is the reason why Mercedes survive which also thanks to Kim Kardashian’s spam advertising
@@seansiew5629 Those are your views, which i do disagree with. Mercedes now has some high quality line up. For example, Mercedes has the most reliable and most powerful production 4 cylinder, the M139. Nobody makes anything that comes close. Highly reliable and must be driven hard more frequently than you may want. So, i would caution anyone buying a Mercedes with the M139 engine. You need to enjoy driving aggressively to fully appreciate that engine. It makes 467 horses in the new C63 AMG and about 412 horses in the CLA 45 AMG. The other two super reliable mercedes engines are the M276 (3.5 liter v-6 versions or the 3.0 liter twin turbo version) and the M256 (inline 6 turbo). If you buy any mercedes with any of these engines in them, you are good to go so long as you do the recommended maintenance on them. for their V-8, I would stick to their M177. Mercedes 9-speed gearbox is literally bullet proof whether with their torque converter or dual clutch versions. So, I am not sure what you mean by Mercedes quality is no longer what it used to be. The models Mercedes made during and after they bought and sold off Chrysler had electrical issues and some engine related issues. Those are the ones i would stay away from with the exception of the C230 Kompressor which was surprisingly bulletproof. i know a person with that model that has almost 300,000 miles on it.
At £120k for a new 7 series a better buy is a second hand latest generation flying spur. Theyve not released a LWB version of the 7 series this time which was a strange choice as that made the F02 such a head turner. Out of these two would take the S class.

Hi can you explain how bmw i7 has more steering angle while on paper(google) shows that mecesdes s class has 1.0 more turning degree than i7? Is it base on the actual testing? I mean it could be the distance of the front and rear wheels affecting the final result.
I’m still a Lexus Toyota person of 30 yrs. But I am past driving boring cars, and i don’t necessarily want a Porsche.

The BMW is absolutely hideous. The Mercedes is sophisticated and sleek.
@@seansiew5629 Can you briefly summarize the key reasons why bro? I'm looking at one
@@realkingtv7885 one its the quality, in an S class, you got a lot of plastic areas like the lower console, the glove compartment and door pockets, compared to the w221 and w222 which had a lot of leather around those areas, and as well as having to rely on a touchscreen makes the whole car a problematic one, not to mention the E-ABC is a scam by MB to proof its "better" than an Airmatic, where most of the times i feeling the bump which is not supposed to be with air suspension, tested an S580 with 19" and E-ABC

Fun fact: In Dubai it's 2x more expensive to rent an S class with a chauffeur than a BMW 7 series. They all say that their customers prefer the S class hence why way more expensive. And tbh, I've had more fun being chauffered in an S class at night than in a BMW. The lighting of the Merc is just on a different level, it's almost blending with the world outside. The display is also more pretty to look at
Ohhh
BMW woke up so late and now they're doing too much with the 7 Series trying to catch up but unfortunately the S Class is levels above it's almost impossible to compete, the amount of tech and designs they added to new 7 Series made it look like a gadget store instead of a flagship luxury limousine lol. And if someone is looking for a sporty limousine they'll go straight to an Audi dealership for an S8. No businessman or high profile politician is going to choose this gadget store instead of an S Class. But probably BMW is targeting streamers and influencers with this car

Kids dream of owning an M3 or M5 but no one dream of owning a 7 series. Meanwhile the S Class/Maybach is a status symbol. Thats the difference, BMW is literally just wasting time and energy in this lost battle instead of focusing on what they do best, making crazy M5
@@phantomasss7772well that’s because they have Rolls Royce and Maybach is nothing compared to them, the Rolls Royce vehicles are distinct enough to differentiate between a 7 series, as well as the unique craftsmanship by hand that intrigues a lot of people, the Maybach to an untrained eye looks like an oversized S class with extra glam and all Maybach badges slapped on it, RR luxury is unparalleled
The Benz has a very classy exterior which is nice, but I do not like the interior, especially not the screen. Design-wise I prefer the BMW, because it looks new and just different from what you´ve seen in the last years. Also the interior design has it more for me.

this is the first seven series design that I have liked since around 2001. I know it’s a polarizing design and that many people do not think it’s all that pretty, but I love the angles.

Mercedes is king of subtleties. Every Mercedes is built with this philosophy in mind. Subtleties make you forget how much you paid for the car. Every mercedes i have ever owned have this quality.

The new Mercedes of post Covid are nothing like their 80s-00s Mercedes in terms of quality
