    Hi! My name is Lynette.
Just a crazy witch, stumbling into crone-hood, trying to honor nature’s cycles, & make life magickal. Here you'll find my adventures in gardening, pagan spirituality, food preservation, fiber arts, family life, crazy projects, health and healing & building a homestead through the 13 lunations of each year. I'm in growing zone 8b in the Pacific Northwest, & I love to work in my garden. My first livestock consists of 14 conversational chickens. I own a small business dyeing and selling luxury hand dyed yarns (for knitting) and wool fibers (to spin into yarn).

What a great idea! I’ve seen people use cattle panel and stretch greenhouse grade plastic over it on their raised beds, too. Wish I had more sunlight in the Fall/Spring or I’d be very tempted to do this. Sadly only get 3-4 of full sun during those months so probably not worth it for me.

We dont get a lot of really sunny days until summer either, though we get more than 3 or 4 hours. I have some ideas to boost growth though, stay tuned for future updates on this. :)

Thank you for sharing the extra steps you took to keep it all in place!!! I didn't do that with a different brand and smaller version and wished I did.

Thanks for watching! I do wish it had something built in to secure it on the ground. I guess landscape staples might work.

Hi, I'm so glad I came across your channel. You have really great content and a lovely persona. I recieved my greenhouse today and didn't know where to start until I saw your video. Do you also have a video for building your raised beds? They look really well built. 🙂

      Welcome! And thank you!
I don't have a video on building the raised beds. They are all a bit different, because they were built at different times, but all really simple. We just used pine dimensional lumber and screwed them together with decking screws, and added some bracing pieces here and there.
