- Introducing a future project car to the channel. My dad and one of my brothers plan to build this old car into an exact tribute of a car we had in the 80's and 90's.
First thing on the list is to determine if the old 4.3 V6 is a boat anchor or not ?????

Looks like small block time. Gotta wonder if it didn’t get in a flood looking under the valve covers. She definitely is locked up. Really looks to be in fair shape for it’s age. Can’t wait to see what you do to it. Like you said LS swap would be easy because of the availability of parts so maybe. Stay cool
Agreed, way more crusty than a typical parked engine. Its not good.
Even though the car has sentimental value to you and your family, I don’t think anybody would mind upgrading the motor from something slow AF to at least something good if not bad ass.

Just a casual observation I think it's got a wee bit of rust in the engine. or motor . Must be a motor it's in a motor vehicle.
She’s crusty. Some people get all torqued about the motor/engine debate. I do not. As long as its got one in it anyways.
