2018 maxima sl...alittle over 107,000 ......proudly trading it in.....I had no major problems with the car besides the attempts of people trying to steal it...... However, I noticed that it is starting to drag among other things.....its indeed not in its prime anymore, and I respectfully would like to depart from it.. .also the back clips from the panorama sunroof all of sudden broke off...entered the car and second part was retracted....beautiful and great car to had own for 5 years....

change the tran fluid, and, the tran filter behind the driver's side front wheel, every 25k. just drain and fill, no need to "flush"

I have a 2015 Rogue Select and the RPM’s did just like yours the other day. I’ve only had this two months when husband was sick and in hospital and my Toyota engine went. I was tired of taking an Uber to hospital those 8 days he was in. Also thought it would be easy for him to get in and out once home but he never saw it. He came home via medical transport and passed away a few days later due to dementia. So anyway I lost power in this Rogue and air condition at same time. Took to shop today and they said they couldn’t find anything. My question is should I take it to a transmission shop to get fluid checked or just sell this for what I can get while it’s still running, shifting easily and no engine light is on? I’m asking how do I know if the transmission is gone or just needs fluid? I also don’t know what engine braking means. Thanks

facemarket loaded with nissan sentras for sale cheap but with faulty cvt trannys :( and mine soon to join them since it started to slip and fluid change didnt help that much

I accidentally installed it upside down. Is there an easy way of removing it from the window without having to get new adhesive? or do I need to remove it from the window, get new adhesive and then remount it correctly. I'm trying to avoid having to get new adhesive.

You know.... i never actually thought of what a zip code actually did. I just assumed it was some number assigned to on a district by dostrict basis. I had no idea it was a country wide system. 2017 maxima 162772mi no issues so far fingers crossed i have owned it since 30000 got it from a rental company. At this point to i just ride it out till a major problem or get a small amount for it and pick up another car and car note :(?

I'm gonna agree there, I got a 2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum and I just don't get why they'd put LED headlights but then even on the top trim not have an option for LED foglights? It just makes zero sense to me

129k, your doing good, that's a nice run. They normally have a reputation of 75k. I bought my 05 at 75k with issues and they replaced it under warranty, 75k later it did it again. Then I got the 2016 when it just hit the lot. It drown in a hurricane right after I paid it off, insurance put 50% down on a new one. Get a warranty and be happy.

Sorry to hear that your trans took a 💩 on you. But your statement about they can't be repaired is completely wrong.

My 2021 Altima sv will hesitate like hell for about 5 or so seconds then take off like a damn rocket. I’ve only had it a year and only 50k miles. And around 1 to 1.5 k Rpm at low speed it’s doing that shaking rumbling thing. If I would’ve known about the Versa coming in a 5 speed I would’ve bought one brand new and spent less than a used Altima.
