You're jumping instead because you're not waiting for the button prompt to interact. Every time it worked properly, the button prompt was on screen, so the game is working logically. I understand the nitpick, though.
Exactly, he was rushing through everything, sprinting and jumping while trying to interact with items. The same exact thing happens in Inquisition, moving too fast and the button interaction/prompt wasn't connecting/activating.
It's weird to hear Solas be all like "I was not destroying the world!", when at the end of Inquisition he quite explicitly states "Yeah, I'm gonna destroy the world." I guess the fact that there will be a new world afterwards makes it all better in his eyes.
@@Vancev99x If he thinks he's remaking the world, that doesn't inherently meant he sees that it has to be destroyed in full. Of course, he doesn't care about the parts that need to be broken before the remaking is finalized. None of those parts were his world to begin with. This is, of course, just more self-deception to justify the genocides he's kicking off. If he makes the world better, it's worth the sacrifices of other people's lives. One wonders if he would accept his own death if it was necessary to see his vision fulfilled.

If you look carefully both when he hurt Varric and during the conversation with Rook, Solas facial expressions show how in contrast he is with himself. I liked how they portrait him in these first moments!
Human Rogue here as well. Opted for Lords of Fortune. They had me at "Pirate Barbarian" (they had me at 'bulge slider' too but that was pretty much a given) 😈

I'm really really hoping they have allowed for an archer build and not just melee with the Rogue, I've been in Archer since Origins. And for the record I too normally don't do Mages.. but Mage was actually pretty fun in Inq

If you run up to an interactable object and the circle hasn't turned into the actual button, you're going to jump when you press the interact button. So the problem isn't that the button prompt isn't registering. Is it the button prompt hasn't become active yet when you're pressing it. You know the button prompt is going to be there so you're pressing it as soon as you get there but the prompt hasn't shown up on screen yet.
i mean im excited and gonna play it but my lavellan loved solas and i actually agree with solas as someone who always play an elf lol so im secretly hoping there is an option to actually let it happen
I think the cannon origins for Rook must be Rogue. He's part of the group called "Shadow Dragons" which makes it obvious that he is a discreet fellow. Also, the name "Rook", its a black crow-like bird and birds tend to be quick. So a black bird would very much match the Rogue build. Just saying.
I figured Rook meant Rookie, which would explain why we are so low-leveled to begin with, we are still a rookie member of the Shadow Dragons. It also explains why we don't necessarily know Minrathous as well as we are expected to.

You can have your opinion and I can have mine. Doesn't mean either of us are right or wrong. They have mentioned this. There will be a tarot card system in game in creator where you can build your world state from previous game. It won't be connected to keep though as far as I know

The jump and interact button being the same is similar to Mass Effect 2 and 3 where cover/doge were the same as interact.
Interact and jump are also just somewhat universal as the same button in a lot of games lol
