Most sport bike haters are the guys that won't admit they're scared asf of them or just don't trust themselves with one 😅😅😅😅
your on to something
16 year Gixxer rider here.. I’ve always let my actual street riding speak for me.. no need to go back & forth with idiots
Well said I think squids & bike brands should stay separated.
@@YoyoEnglish-oq9we agreed 💯
Its so hard to really really hate on the ZUKI
@@YoyoEnglish-oq9we such a reliable and fast workhorse!! 🏍️💨🦾
I think all Sport Bikes are hated on, not just Gixxers. Its usually someone who had a bad experience/accident with one or stopped riding one cause they could not handle it. The gay stereotype online is just a bunch of internet trolls trying to find something to make fun of to fill a hole in their empty lives, they have nothing better to do.
Ya i should have been more specific, the homo jokes are so crazy lol. I'm literally just looking around like, I never seen any of the people they making jokes about lol.
8 Years Gixxer rider here. K8 750. One of most realiable bike you can get. Bang for the Buck. Love it! Who cares what ppl think!
I definitely agree that suzuki's are built bullet proof lol
Bought a new 1989 750 when I was 19! Loved that bike. Then rode Harley’s for 30 years. Bought a 2002 GSXR750 in 2021. Loved it. Just getting too old to be in that position. Fuck the haters!
its hard to go back to sport bike position after being on a cruiser for a long time.
Yoooo I didn’t even realize you make videos!
Yes Sir! Glad you stopped by browski!
Bro you made a 5 minute video for 1 minute of content.
indeed, next time ill make it a short instead.
I think it's the rider and not the bike.
Lots of people have owned the GSX-R platform and have not been great representatives of the motorcycling community because of their actions on the road.
I just told a buddy who asked me how fast i've gotten it up to and why i cruise it more than rape it lol. I'm like bro I got 3 kids and a wife to come home to. Consensus is, if you ride a liter bike, you must ride it like your in motogp without the skill hahaha
I had one and loved it, but gave it to my buddy and took over payment on his BMW s1krr. A true biker will appreciate really any bike
Thanks for dropping your .02 brother!
I love the gsxr 600 think its a grate bike it all depends on how you ride and take care of the bike
Heard... I think the hate should be directed more towards the type of rider you are and not the bike.
Dude…Gixers are the Fastest Cheapest bikes that you can buy at the used market…once you get your license and you want a fast bike you probably will choose a Gixer just because you can’t buy another brand. Suzuki is a great great brand, but bikes are cheap and still very well
made! that is why most of the Squids are riding Gixers. Sure, Turbo rider and Ghost rider have influenced a lot too
Very true!
I can do things on my 2001 Gixxer 1000 with a passenger that people don't dare do on their 2023 M1000RR... I don't care about your "maps". My 145 wheel horsepowers will do me right just fine. LOL. I'm 48 and my last bike was 2000 Gixxer 750 that I sold in 2005. Sure I am 100% midlife crisis thing, but I can back my choices up with skills. LOL... Sucks to get passed by an old dude with an ol' lady on a bike that's about as old as you are... Let's play! Having said that, I give respect where it's due when someone is a safe and fast rider. Hat's off to everyone who can pass me. FYI, my girl tells me "don't you let anyone pass you" LOL.
yo Andrei you wild bro!
Suzuki started the squid trend because it was once a top selling brand flooding the market with used motorcycles. Resell value dropped because of more supply then demand. Also because of that reason after market parts for Gsxr became a thriving industry making it more attractive for people that customized them. Suzuki then lead with the hyabussa and since the 1300cc parts also fit 750 and 600. Getting after market parts were very cheap. Dealers pushed them for that reason keeping the demand high because they can easily fix up a gsxr vs a Yamaha.
I feel like they are pretty solidly built. I have seen people riding them like on its last leg, stuff falling off it, just trash rides. But i view that as people who really can't "afford" to own a motorcycle, so they just patch it up.
Interesting topic. Here's my 2cents.... The Suzuki GSXR suffered badly from the world press when the management stopped updating the models. Back in the 2000's Suzuki would bring out a new model every two years but then that stretched out to many years between up dates and the world press poo pooed them. The British wanted the new tech and Suzuki stayed still, the US seems to have a "buy whatever size bike you can afford rule" which will obviously attract younger riders with little income to hit the roads on a fast bike. Then the stereotyping UA-cam channels will jump on the bandwagon and put labels on everything (which I hate) about the bikes and riders.....In Australia where I am the bike licence requirements are much tougher so we don't get that so much and then we get to the REAL WORLD riding, you can have your expensive Ducati that doesn't have the fuel range of the GSXR or the comfort or the lower servicing costs but because it's not perceived as exotic it's no good. Best wishes to you on your fantastic Gixxer.
well said.
Suzukis sportbikes are ragged on because they are cheap to buy. This makes people mad that a cheaper bike can keep up or outrun a more expensive one . Suzuki had a 200 hp engine in 2016 who else did ..no one!!!
Man, its 2024 and i'm still waiting for someone to explain where I can buy a "cheap" brand new liter bike. These things are literally all priced within a few hundred dollars for base models and skys the limit for better models. But I don't see how anyone who walks out a dealership paying $16k-$20k for a bike considered "cheap" unless your comparing it to a ducati v4r, zx-10RR, Fireblade, H2/H2r, rsv4 factory, etc...
@@YoyoEnglish-oq9we True but the GSXR 1000 is a bargain and can keep up !
I love it!
The Gsxr's are the best bang for the buck!! I love my 2023 1000r
7K miles on my '23 ninja 400 and now want a GSXR600 or 750. Hooligan things
Thats plenty of time on a sub 600cc bike, definitely time to move up. I would say go 750 and you wont have regrets, unless you want something with electronics. You should consider Aprillia 660, i'm definitely considering an APE in the future
there's no such thing as a Gixxer squid. it's like Bigfoot
my man!
Let’s not be ridiculous the bike is the bike the bike is an innocent machine..to put it to bed from there it’s the rider that then makes that bike no longer innocent and can be deadly now is it a lot of those people on gsxr bikes yes but I can say it’s probably riders of all makes and models…now does the gsxr come on the end of a cheaper bike that then attracts these types of riders but again not the bike fault it’s always going to be the rider. So professional racers on gsxr your telling me they are squid’s no they ride the damn bike better then anyone on the road talking about gsxr riders…again my point it’s the rider…with any bike if you not a douchebag then you will be fine on any bike including gsxr…
From my experience, "squids" are usually those that did whatever they could to get a somewhat running street bike but can't actually afford to own one. They skimp on insurance, gear and maintenance.
Katana haters are also quite vociferous.
Damn, I remember the Katanas! My dad had one.
Looks. Like a big bandaid on your forehead
Leather bandaid sir get it right lol
