Does a $17 plastic welder from Temu actually work?

    You’ll see on tutorials online people using Alloy Tape to hold the outer shape before welding or melting in staples. That’s coz the outer lining up is most critical.
    Great work getting it so close as a 1st try however.
    It’ll work out fine in the end. 👍🏻🇦🇺

    I'm surprised how well thus worked on an AW11 bumper. They are made from a thermoset polyurethane meaning it doesn't melt, only burns

    It just lacks the 'street cred' you get with 🥾 boot laced cable ties 😜😁

    Along with the hot staple gun, an old hot glue gun stuffed with small cable ties. Hot staple to hold it together and the glue gun to add material to fill gaps.

      ah yeah nice :) i found some really good soft bumper filler for soft bumpers like this so i'll give that a go, see how it comes up :)

    I herd temu sells you credit card info that's how they sell stuff so cheap

      Yeah they are shady as! (To be honest I didn't buy this one off temu but the exact one is available on there)
