- Brenna's sweet 16 early birthday present, a pug puppy. Needlessly to say she was pretty happy, she has been wanting a pug for a long long time and we finally found the perfect one. Happy Birthday Brenna I love you.

It might me 'best' at 8 weeks but you are aloud to take them at 6 weeks so it doesn't matter.

I don't have a dog but I really really want one! I have been binge-watching videos for hours where people get cats/dogs for Christmas/their birthday and scream/cry! They all make me cry happy tears lol

Subrina P i have a pit bull and i have to give it away cause mu mom is having another baby and my current dog is aggressive so my mom is getting a toy breed dog... Don't worry try to convince your parents to get you a dog show them your responsible and you may get one thats how i got my first dog ever

I've watched this video like 3 or 4 times now...I just noticed. What's with the door in the background? What's up there? Is it stairs? I really high up closet? An attic? Portal to another world? A window that isn't a window but a door? If it goes outside, do you twist your ankle coming in every time? I need to know.
Possibly the heater. My parents house had something similar before they remodeled.

+Michael Tillman remeber pugs eyes can bulge out when they are squeezed and they can't breath very good so pop they're eyes back into place. BTW I'm so jelly now I want a pug. :)

Loved the video til I heard it's 6 weeks. Puppies most definitely need to stay 8 weeks and more is even better. Those 2 weeks do matter. I work with a rescue and never will they adopt out before 8 weeks. Even at our local pound they adopt out after 8.
Jennifer Gonzalez 8 weeks minimum...they actually recommend 12 weeks for pups and kittens
I remember my pug :) Unfortunately, we had to put him down in March, but it still feels like he's at my feet waiting to be fed more and more food. Anyways, congratulations on your new pug Brenna!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

***** It was really weird, he was only 3 years old, but on a random day, he was limping and really lethargic, my parents thought he ate something outside, so we took him to the vet, they ran a bunch of tests, and they couldn't find anything. Unfortunately, it got to the point to where he couldn't even walk, and you could tell he was in constant pain, so my parents made the decision of putting him to sleep. I still miss him, but it would u don't have been fair to keep him with him being in so much pain.
But what was weird, was we had anther pug a few years before him, who got really sick around 3 years old, the vet couldn't find anything wrong with him either.
***** He was only 3 years old though, in human years. Pugs average a 14 human year life span, so both my pugs died really young.

***** well not everything is ' n a book, it depends how they are trained, but most of the time it is 8 weeks.
+The doctor well my puppies are 4 and 1/2 weeks old now so it dont matter any more and my puppies are perfectly healthy and fine and i know this cuz there mines not yours.... ☺️
+The doctor and yes they are sappose to be with the mom till eight weeks but she stop feeding them when they were 5 to 6 weeks so the one my mom gave me she was giving her regular cow milk and thats why i took her at 6 weeks because if i wouldve left my puppy with her she wouldve been sick or died and the other one was allready eating puppy food at 6 weeks so his friend gave him the puppy at 6 weeks ok so what do they need to be with the mom for at 8 weeks if there not drinking her milk answer that question lol

To all of you saying you're not supposed to have pups before eight weeks, six weeks is the limit in some states, eight in others. Some states don't have laws on it. My mom breeds dogs and we waited eight weeks, but I have to say that I don't think there was such a drastic change in those two weeks that it was unhealthy to leave their mother.
They need 2 more weeks of their mother's milk, to build up their immune system.
If her screaming scared the crap out of me, I can only imagine what it did to the poor puppy!! lol Still, a very cute video with a very excitable young lady!!
I would probably react the same way and i'm almost 30 ! xD But if this puppy is really only 6 weeks old, it's way too early to separate it from its mother! 8 weeks is okay, but 10-12 weeks is even better! But i'm still happy for this girl and i hope that doggie is doing great today! :)

Mistake one: getting a pet as a surprise.
Mistake two: giving the surprise pet to a screeching 16 year old girl, AKA the most self-absorbed creature on planet earth.
Mistake three: thinking a 6 week old puppy is "the perfect one" and that her premature age is something to flaunt to the new owner.
It's especially ironic since #3 just proves without a doubt that the "gifter" doesn't know wtf they are doing & the "giftee" must not either if they are presenting it happily to the new owner, as though it is something favorable.
Seriously though, I don't mean to be "that guy", but this video made me feel very, very sorry for the little puglet. I hope you ultimately raised the little guy right. If you did, contrary to what this video implied, then you have my respect. Because that's all that really matters here, imho.
Preemptive strike!: Don't bother posting about how I'm just some jerk and all that matters is "the love". Because man, I'm sorry, but any dog owner who is worth their salt knows that is simply untrue. It is the main thing, but certainly not the only thing.
