Wanted to ask, how much can these laptop game in a long stretch? If someone wanted to play games for very long session like 9-10 hrs... Are they safe to play with everyday? Or a desktop is preferable? I wanted to get a laptop since performance difference between laptop and desktop is getting negligible but I am afraid of thermal throttling as well as if I game for longer hours, it will eventually get fried.
Yeah exactly laptops can handle but not for long terms so you should go for a desktop instead of laptop according to your need. Because laptop can run games but if you can run games like this than may be it's not better for it.

Brother, if the temperature of your laptop is below 90 then it is fine, but you can reduce it even more with a little undervolting and a good cooling pad.
