@@salvadormarleyMake sure to change the "method" to "Random Walk". This can be done using the drop-down box at the top of the node.

This one does take a bit of power to render as it uses subsurface scattered lighting methods. Maybe time for a hardware upgrade?

Yes, I'm afraid it has. I am working my way through creating new versions but time keeps running away with me.
@blenderbitesize no worries. I'll just buy it. Blender usually compensates automatically. Btw I'm absolutely loving your textures. They're just perfect for my projects and I'm learning a lot.
@@blenderbitesize update: works fine. Blender adds a fresnel node to compensate for the lack of an IOR setting in the subsurface scattering node.
