aptn is mostly canadian non-anglo because they're based in canada (so First Nations/Metis/Inuit and Innu issues) but they do also cover some us shit like the toll COVID took on Dinetah/the Navajo Nation. i'm not personally indigenous so i don't know if there's a us equivalent beyond doing google/youtube-type searches for indigenous content creators. (tumblr also has plenty of indigenous users, so that's another possibility.)

I hope it’s more accepted in Brazil than some other South American countries! I have a Chilean friend and he only ever talked bad about the native people there, and apparently everyone else did too. I was like, my guy, you’re brown too! That’s not from your Spanish heritage friend! Haha.

Ppl don't like to recognize their ancestry cuz being white and European is...how can I say it.. the standard of prettiness and glory? And some others are afraid of recognize their bloodline cuz this often means you will suffer racism, bullying and other violences. Indigenous descendants in Brazil encounter more trouble in finding their identity and unity, cuz if you're not 'White' neither 'Black ' you 'can't be a Brazilian' - this pretty much apply to Asian descendants too. This is sad cuz we are simply erasing and ignoring our original people and their history

I love this show! I'm sorry I missed the Jingle Dance women in San Francisco. I recently watched a show about creating and sewing regalia, and so much work goes into the jingle dresses and other regalia.
DDAAAAANNNNNNGGG...Patrick is SO HAPPY in this video. Having lived in AZ several years in beautiful land between Navajo, Hopi, and Apache I came to realize that everything out there is truly beautiful. CLEARLY, these young women are of that land and compliment it like jewels.

aptn is mostly canadian non-anglo because they're based in canada (so First Nations/Metis/Inuit and Innu issues) but they do also cover some us shit like the toll COVID took on Dinetah/the Navajo Nation. i'm not personally indigenous so i don't know if there's a us equivalent beyond doing google/youtube-type searches for indigenous content creators. (tumblr also has plenty of indigenous users, so that's another possibility.)

I hope it’s more accepted in Brazil than some other South American countries! I have a Chilean friend and he only ever talked bad about the native people there, and apparently everyone else did too. I was like, my guy, you’re brown too! That’s not from your Spanish heritage friend! Haha.

Ppl don't like to recognize their ancestry cuz being white and European is...how can I say it.. the standard of prettiness and glory? And some others are afraid of recognize their bloodline cuz this often means you will suffer racism, bullying and other violences. Indigenous descendants in Brazil encounter more trouble in finding their identity and unity, cuz if you're not 'White' neither 'Black ' you 'can't be a Brazilian' - this pretty much apply to Asian descendants too. This is sad cuz we are simply erasing and ignoring our original people and their history

I love this show! I'm sorry I missed the Jingle Dance women in San Francisco. I recently watched a show about creating and sewing regalia, and so much work goes into the jingle dresses and other regalia.
