Hey Uncle E. I'm an old fan, and I appreciate your walking/hiking videos. They made / make relax and contemplate. Lately, I have been walking /hiking too (a 20 days streak for now, at best an hour each day except the weekends and yesterday). I enjoy what you do, and I wish you a very good day and or night. Much love, -Zig.
You should do an outdoor asmr video with a little mix of roleplay in there. Nothing too crazy, but something like coming across a random traveler or wastelander and they join you on your journey talking about life and quests theyve been on and stuff. It keeps the nice outdoor hikes but also throws some ER flair in there.
For everyone wondering why the audio might be that loud: Turn of the consistent audio option on youtube. It makes all sounds as loud as the loudest in the whole video wich, at least in my case, makes it borderline unpleasent. Just as a friendly reminder ^^ Also turns the left and right audio more into focus, so better always turn it of for ASMR specifically ^^
Loving thess nature asmr vids Paul. They may not get as much viewership because they don't feed into the broken youtube algorithm to get pushed into feeds as much, but I love each new hike and I'm glad you are out there appreciating the beauty of the outdoors.
Hey man. In your previews videos you were worried about ticks. I just want to tell you that you that ticks are mostly in tall grass or bushes, they dont fall from trees so if you are walking on trails you should be good. Anyway, love your videos.
yes this is mostly true (and yes i learned "ticks falling from trees" is a myth) however the tick i found embedded in me from 2022 wasn't from tall grass & bushes, just regular ankle high grass. Ticks can also be found in leaf litter. And I got ticks on my pants from walking around the grass of an arboretum. So I prefer to dress this way. Of course, if I were to stop dressing this way and go back to jeans over the boots, shorts, short sleeve shirt, then I'd end up with a tick lol
@@EphemeralRift I agree. At first, I really used to dislike my state. But my state of mind and vision changed so much, I learned it’s very underrated. I find peace in the simple open farmlands on sunny clear days. The plains and gazing above the big mountains after a strenuous hike. I feel like Conan the barbarian or higher deity.
Saw pinnacle in the title and thought you had visited Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. If you ever find yourself around these parts you should visit white rocks/sand caves over in Ewing, Virginia. Beautiful sights there.
I recommend No Man's Land jerky if you can find it anywhere there in PA. It may be more expensive than Old Trapper or Jack Links. But it's lean, and it's the closest storebought jerky I've ever gotten that tastes just like homemade beef jerky.
Aye that’s a nice loop, around 10 miles with some great overlooks as you showed. There’s also a small cave system in the area but I haven’t gotten more than probably 1-200 feet in
@@EphemeralRift “cave system” probably isn’t the phrase I should have used, as far as I know it isn’t marked or charted. At the pinnacle lookout there is two entry points, one essentially climbing straight down into a crevice, or there is a more conventional entry if you go partially down the side of the overlook. From the “crevice” section turning right is just a dead end but to the left it’s a fairly tight belly crawl that continues downwards, haven’t had the nerve to go more than maybe 100 feet. (Caveat, I’m terrible at guesstimating distance especially while squeezing through rocks in the dark haha)
ha, i don't know about longest twas only 2 minutes ;) actually come to think of it i think i had an idea where the video starts fading out soon as it starts
I was yesterday years old when I found out that ephemeral means "lasting a very short time" which means your channel name is now just as cryptic as everything else you make
except coming up with the name wasn't cryptic, but rather along the lines of.. what 2 words do we not often hear can I put together to make it sound mysterious (and try to be artistic) ;)
Hate when I’m wanting to enjoy a nice quiet day in nature and some obnoxious loud group feels the need to show up and ruin that peace with their annoying ways. With you on being misanthropic, I hate people
Love seeing some green 🌳🌲🐦⬛🦅
absolutely! something about the green i don't know what it is...

Thank you for letting us join you on this beautiful hike. Safe travels. Peace be with you. 💞💞
Who’s ready for another nature journey??
I love nature, the beauty of it all is something I’ll never get sick of. The sounds, birds, buzzing, leaves, everything is perfect! Great video!!

PENNSYLVANIA MENTIONED RAHHH‼️‼️🗣️🔊🔥
Sound of footsteps are so relaxing man
i do plan on doing a video like this where there's no talking and more of just the sounds of walking/nature

Just hiked here earlier in the spring! Great view!
As someone who has visited the US as a tourist once before, these videos really make me consider Pennsylvania as a destination for my second visit

I need a shirt that says “F*** the Algorithm!”
Love the bird sounds
Glad you enjoy doing these. Off to ride my 🚴.
I hike here with friends all the time! So great to see this.
Such a relaxing video Mr. E.R :)

I'm really digging the nature videos, very cool!
That Unreal Engine 5 walking simulator game is nuts!
You've been in my backyard lately-- hope you enjoyed! The Pinnacle is beautiful
was just recently walking around jim thorpe tunnel. Weather was good before the rain
Hope you enjoyed, I had to google that (so many places in PA I need to visit). I'll have to add it to my list!

Lovely views and lovely greens. Very nice elevation, too.
This is splentastic. Pennsylvania is beautiful (must visit sometime)! Can’t wait for sleepy Sunday…
the nature videos are awesome

Nice to see you around my area. I’m from Allentown and I used to go to the pinnacle when I’d visit friends at Kutztown University years ago
I love these videos, I like walking trails myself and this allows me to see trails I cant visit.
Not to promote it but check out the app All Trails I think it’s called. Works with GPS so you don’t get lost.

Hello from northern Europe
Anyone else hear the Skyrim sound track as he travelled? I need to get out more 😂
I'm near Hamburg, Germany. Does that count?
Very enjoyable. That was the longest fade to black ever. Cool.

good now
I've been here once and it was beautiful, a little scary for me because I don't like hights, but still amazing, might go back.
So epic
Greetings from germany! Love your videos dude!

yeah well the group in this video was mixed kids accompanied by adults so it was all good. fortunately those other groups don't happen too often.
Once again I am asking for a sequel to Pushing the Envelope ASMR. 🫶🫶
