I can't find the definitive replacement cost for the NH34, but even the cheaper offers on AliX are a little over 70 USD - so being able to grab an entire watch containing that movement for under 100 bucks is quite amazing.
Great review! I actually just got this watch and I can attest to EVERYTHING you have said! I purchased this for $78 CDN bucks. There's NO way you can go wrong with this watch in terms of build and having the Seiko NH34 GMT movement. It's DEFINITELY the most affordable watch to purchase if you're looking to experience that GMT and not have to buy the Seiko 5KX GMT for $500 plus. Keep doing your thing Amigo ... You review well 🔥😎
Just got mine today 61gbp delivered as part of the Ali Express black Friday deals (28/11/2023). On the fly clasp and metal case back included. Watch is better than expected and I had high expectations after watching this review lol
I just ordered one Mark. Hope it's ok ! Can I ask, is the GMT hand lining up ok, how is the lume, and did it come in a box or just a polystyrene pack ? 😊
This is a great watch. C3 is not superluminous. I love my railmaster corguet. Best watch I own. 8215 is a tank. I took it off for hammering or concrete demo. It was on y wrists or in my pocket. Corguet made me a watch lover. I love it. Watch brands need to show taste of the more expensive population but us normal people are fans aswell so eat this one up. Tasty watch. My next one. And yes over san martin. It's not noticeable.
Just ordered one today ! It looks pretty good for the price . Looking forward to getting it. Excellent review, thank you . Must admit I ordered it before seeing your review ! I'm happy it seems OK !
Thank you for this review! I now have 4 NH35A watches, and I ended up opening all 4 to regulate them. This Corgeut case-back needs a special wrench to open it, as it does not have the usual 6 holes to grab with an adjustable case-back wrench I have in my tool kit! The question becomes then, if this even is a screw-on back, or a pop-on type! That totally knocks it out of the race for me. The SteelDive SD1992 can be had for under 120 dollars now (Corgeut is down to around 65), has the maintenance friendly case-back, and is much better in water-resistance at 300 meters. I am on a dismal budget, but this is also why I cannot afford cheap things that are simply too cheap! That means with all the Corgeut watches I have looked at, they are below the too cheap to be good threshold. I have 2 very good and unbelievably cheap Tandorio watches that serve me well, but Corgeut sets off my alarm bells every time I see another model, with not one good value yet!
Thank you for sharing! I still have a couple of Corguet watches in my rotation including this one and they are ok. However I think they can do with a bit more consistency accross their models, like even this one can be delivered with different clasp or even with an exhibition case back which definitely doesn't help with building customer confidence in the brand. Hope they read comments 😁
Awsome review . I've got it in my cart with a few others for the May sale ..... do I need anymore watches 😂😂😂😂 no ... but at these prices it's a no brainer . Cheers
@user-qh1kr6jt6s From recent purchases of this watch I had some sent to me with a different clasp. So, I would advise to double check with the seller prior to buying, you can use the chat function on the listing. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching.
It has nothing to do with attitude. This is based on the Rolex Explorer II which is 100m. Their watches that are based on 200m and 300m models do claim 200m and 300m.
Great review and a surprisingly good watch for the money. But just to give a heads-up to your viewers, the watch I've just received 28-12-23 came without the on-the-fly adjustment clasp. As you say, it is not stated in the description that it will be delivered with such a clasp so I can not complain - just noting it.
Nice review and I agree in most of the points, but my came unfortunately with an Chinese movement (the description was NH34!) So take care what you're buying. You were lucky but I guess they sell sometimes these clockwork and hope nobody notices. Positive is the quality and if the movement do the job I'm fine. But it was cheated
I purchased the Steeldive SD1992 iteration, instead. I learned of this Corgeut model prior to my purchase of the SD. But, not having seen this video extolling its virtues, I remained skeptical that there would be too many cost-cutting measures. I really wanted the black indices surrounds that this Corgeut possesses. The SD1992 lume is disappointing, despite being a Steeldive. I also prefer this model's sterile case back more than my SD. Although, to be fair, the SD boasts 300 meters of water resistance. This may be one of those scenarios where I purchase another watch with seemingly identical looks, save for a couple of features, as a 'do-over'.
I personally found the dial of this one and pagani design 42mm quite empty looking closer as it is all plain white and indices are far apart. Do u also observe the same?
Very good review sir! But there is so much Rolex homages\clomages out there. Can you review a Specht&Sohne Patek Philippe clomage? thank you very much!
@tahirhussain1755 The Pagani design that I reviewed had 'Pearl' GMT movement and the NH34 in this Corgeut is definitely a better option. In terms of everything else (besides the movement) Pagani Design version of this watch is slightly more refined imho. Now, PD recently released a New version of this homage with NH34 movement - so it is potentially a better buy than this Corgeut, however PD with NH34 is more expensive, unless you can find it on a super special sale 🙂 Hope this helps! 🙂👍
@@ShinyThings thanks for such a detailed reply. Have u tried steeldive 1992 of this model ? I feel steeldive is better from all of them but shamefully they have 41mm diameter instead of 42mm, as i like the bigger dial more
@tahirhussain1755 I haven't tried SD 1992, however, from my experience you are more likely to get the most consistent quality (and considerably better lume) from SD between the three brands. I am, personally, ok with the 41mm... it is the pressed clasp on SD that is not my favourite... 🤔
I was going to buy this as its now £49. BUT the poroduct listing doesnt show the quick adjust clasp or have anyway of telling the seller whether I want a jubilee or oyster bracelet, or the caseback style. As theres no contact seller icon on Ali Express anymore, I cant ask the seller, wtf? A shame as I like this watch but without a way of contacting the seller I am no longer buying anything from Ali Express.
I will complain my usual thing. Caseback is a dealbreaker. Too much of a gamble if I can't open and regulate myself, even for the great price. Also I prefer pins bracelets. I had some problems with cheaper watches screws. Stuck, stripped, unscrewing on their own, but so far never with cheaper pins.
Yes good points. Split pins are preferable to cheap and nasty screws. I had a stripped screw on a Thorn not long ago, and my technique was not to blame. As for caseback I find that they all ship fairly loose and a magic 8 ball can get them opened easily. The only issue if had with that is sometimes you have to take the bracelet off completely or else the rubber ball grips on the inside of the bracelet and prevents caseback removal.
Definitely not Pearl as 24 hour hand clicks to each hour instead of free style sweep a la Pearl movement. I own both movements already in different watches so can tell you it's definitely not a Pearl movement in this watch.
The pearl isn't a version of the NH34, it's a totally different movement. And an NH34 is pretty cheap, especially if you buy in bulk, so it's not hard to believe they're using them for this watch.
I wouldnt put it past Ali Express sellers. I have a Thorn with the same case back and its time keeping is appalling for a NH35 movement. Unfortnately I havent been able to open it yet to check it.
@ gewema-makkum:I was going to have a go, but instead i'll educate. This is an EXPLORER II homage, NOT a GMT homage (sure it can perform the same function), ergo the bezel was never meant to move, it is primarily there so the wearer could tell if it was AM or PM, when in places like underground caves for very long periods of time, or in areas that there is 24hrs light, or 24 hrs darkness, extreme weather conditions etc- ie areas where one could not ascertain if it is AM or PM. You're welcome -SMFH!
There’s a huge difference between an homage and a copy; and less of a difference between a copy and a replica. The Christopher Ward C63 Sealander GMT is an homage, as is the Grand Seiko SBGM247; this isn’t an homage, it’s a copy. Great review otherwise.

Great review & great looking watch.
For the money, definitely a great buy for what I consider my favourite (Rolex).
Thanks again,Paul.
This review was very helpful; especially when you mentioned the adjustable clasp. You sold me on that fact!

I like that they didn't claim 200 or 300 meters and have a more responsible attitude towards their customers.

gmt automatic watch for 60 pound) I thinck its the best dial
Best dial? Maybe. I think it’s good deal tho 😂
Thanks for the review. Nice to know there is a cheapie out there, that is a decent little watch. Cheers!!!

Great build quality for price with Corgeut
Must get one of these
Brilliant value and a great review. There is a lot to like
Hello, could you please recommend a good alexpress rubber bracelets for rolex homages.
I bought Pagani Design GMT (NH34) for 80 USD with taxes (and points from app - 10k).
Thank you for sharing! 🙂👍 I'll see if I can get Pagani in for review too.
@@ShinyThingsI think if you can get the new V4 with the bigger hands and claimed better lume, that will be a great review
I like it.
All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧
This looks great, the dial and hands seem more crisp white than of the pagani. Lugs seem a bit thick though
great video
Do you think this would look good in a 6.3 inches / 16cm wrist ?
I purchased the Steeldive SD1992 iteration, instead. I learned of this Corgeut model prior to my purchase of the SD. Is there a way we can refine those polished edges?
Is Your review about model 2029 or 3002? Do you also know the difference between the two?

This Corguet is 39mm, so a bit more compact. In terms of the dial design... well I guess we can't blame neither of the brands 🙂 it's all on Rolex 😁
@@ShinyThings hahahaha, u r so rite. Good efforts brother 💯
Very good review sir!

thank you very much!
I really like this watch and the value is good. However, mine did not come with the fast adjust the clasp ... very disappointing
What is ur view of it compared to Pagani design explorer 2 homgae u had reviewd before. The appearance is same??

Most underrated
I always thought the nh34 was an automatic movement?
5 oclock white index has paint/lume problem.

I bought the Bliger version under 100 euro just when the nh34 exploded on Ali.
How do we know it's really an NH34?
When you handle the watch and maneuver the function ... You can tell it's the NH34.
I will complain my usual thing. Caseback is a dealbreaker. Too much of a gamble if I can't open and regulate myself, even for the great price.

Shame there’s not a black dial version
There is one, mine is on it's way. Would have loved to see one on yt before, though.
There is
Has anyone opened up the back case to verify nh34? I think these are made with the cheap chinese version called pearl movement.
Definitely not Pearl as 24 hour hand clicks to each hour instead of free style sweep a la Pearl movement. I own both movements already in different watches so can tell you it's definitely not a Pearl movement in this watch.

Часы бомба! Ношу уже год!
Looks like a deal to me
A lot of watch for the money.
Bliger can offer it for les money :)
Bligers garbage! Mine quit working after 2 months
Its a GMT Watch...it has no rotating Bezel ??? Its a Joke !😂
Like the explorer 2 it’s a clone of? I’ll be sure to let Rolex know.
The original doesn't rotate either dude. You'd have to get a GMT master for that.
@ gewema-makkum:I was going to have a go, but instead i'll educate.
