Phenomenal video. I have come across "extrapyramidal symptoms" in my classes many times. With this video I feel like I won't forget what each means and can tell the different between the 4 much better
so it goes this way: Diagnosis: History Gait examination for abnormalities Head to toe observation Muscle tone and velocity of action Tests (Romberg / heel +toe standing /postural reflexes)
Wow! Great video! Head and shoulders above anything else I could find for a quick review of EPS. But I do need to comment on one thing-- Bare feet in the hospital? Sheesh!
cogwheel muscle movement...sometimes people on quetiapine develop this its very slight and the sufferer feels it..bt nobody can see it...its not pleasant
Sir, I appreciate your video but the way you performed the pull test was pitiful. And making a step backwards during that test doesn't mean someone has extrapyramidal problems. On the contrary, a healthy individual may make up to 2 small steps backwards when pulled from behind which means that their postural coordination is fine. People with PD will fall like a tree. Trust me, I've seen hundreds.
