These clinical skills are so well done. The amount of knowledge you have in your brain and are able to articulate so professionally is beyond incredible. Thank you for what you do
Hey Ninja Nerds Team, I am a pharmacist and felt in love with the channel, been watching your videos since 2021 mostly everyday! I felt in love with Medecine thanks to you guys and I recently took the decision to come back to academia and start medical school to fulfill my dream: Being a MD + Pharmacist! I hope get everything done in 5-6 years!
I love the timing of these uploads. Literally just in time when I needed them. This channel literally saved me on my 1st year med school last year, now I'm in 2nd year. Ninja nerd never fails me (literally) 😌
You've done it, Zack!! Helping students with clinical skills especially around this time as many aren't able to get in some one on one time with people. Wishing you the best and Thank you for your work!
i love that you're now doing videos about clinical skills, we really need that, because there's a lot of us who are good in theorie but not in practice, and now i can show off in front of my Colleagues and seniors lol
I'm starting to understand this and I'm a bricklayer using it to relax and sleep. That's how good this guy is, brilliant. Lives would be changed if we had school teachers with this level of communication, explanation and simplification and the friendly manner that would make young people want to learn.
Thank you for explaining why you are testing each cranial nerve and what problems can be associated with cn defects, this definitely makes the exam make more sense for me! Love all your videos, thank you so much!
me and my homies will be having a clinical skill exam about neurology in 4 days and obviously cranial nerves exam is a big part of it. Thank you so much you guys are real soul savers!
he's not just helping the med students, he's helping the patients when so many med students seem to be either lost or cramming to get through material they don't really know :o
Excellent sir excellent. Not only you have taught us the way to do the testing, but also explained why these tests are done. You have gone above and beyond your call of duty as an instructor. I bow to you. Namaste. You are what I aspire to be. I am a budding PA.
You should know that every new subject we are on in nursing school I watch your video's first. It has helped me tremendously. Getting all A's thank to you....You are the best.
I am a pharmacy student and all your videos on neuromuscular systems helped me to understand my lectures, thank you so much. any time I am stuck, I check your videos for help
Hands down, the best, most thorough, video EVER on the cranial nerves examination. So many vids neglect to explain what the implications are of each part of the assessment, should they be abnormal...!
This video is perfect timing! I'm in Advanced Health Assessment for NP school and I have to assess cranial nerves on my final head-to-toe assessment in a few weeks!
Student nurse here! Preparing for semester exams in a weeks time. This video made all the difference as it was both theoretical and practical. Imprinted for life 🎉🎉
Zach, are you a PA? If so, you should be a surgeon giving instruction during residency! Love your channel! Thanks a bunch-o! Please don't ever delete these videos! I go and read the stuff, and then apply it, and then when I need to review it I simply watch one of your videos! Please keep making more! I loved your video on action potential! Thanks again!
Amazing is the word. Sometimes I get so frustrated with neuro exams.. I tend to forget. But each time I watch ur videos, I tend to understand why each step is done, how it's done and the interpretation 🥰 thank you Ninja need🙏😭

Amazing series. You are honestly teaching better than some of my professors. Please make videos on clinical examination of other systems as well, like CVS, respiratory, GIT, renal, surgical cases etc, and general physical examination and other small basic clinical procedures that a med student should know.
This topic is traumatic for me. My first clinical exam the doctor told me to examine all the CRANIAL NERVES of the patient. I wasn't prepared for that. I took a deep breath and started to examine his Olfactory nerve, but I figured out that I don't have any FAMILIAR substance for the patient to smell, so I thrusted RIGHT HAND PALM AGAINST THE PATIENT'S BOTH NOSTRILS and asked him are you smelling anything?! So he answered me No since my hand has no AROMA 🤣🤣. This will never be forgotten 😂
I have had what looks to be similar conducted by badged officer for not utilizing my blinker when making a turn avoiding Morphine analog impaired drivers
You are so dang smart. I’m at the end of my first year of medical school and have my Neuro osce soon which I’m looking forward to. You have so much knowledge and experience to look up to.
You are life saverJust right before my neurology final! Thank you Zack from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done up til now and for the future content too ❤❤❤
My neurologist gives me this exam but I never knew what it was called. He goes sooo fast and asks like 100 questions in 5 minutes. Now I feel more prepared for it and know what the purpose is lol
