There were a lot of mistakes done by Indian airforce its good that we fixed friendly fire issue ,S400 will be a big help and mig-21 got shot because India’s one of the best pilot wing commander Abhinandan was flying it a and he knew that it don’t matter if a mig-21 gets shot down but if a F-16 is shot down it will hurt the moral of the Pakistani airforce and he did that

i Still can't understand, why IAF went ahead with Balakot strike knowing they are lacking in BVR capability. Better they should have acquired it and then go ahead with the mission.. Don't understand how PAF failed. It was Indian air force who missed their target at Balakot, lost a Mig 21 and shot down helicopter. It was IAF who knew PAF will retaliate but still could not stop PAF. By the way a radar picture provided by IAF proves nothing.

@@sohandas4096 stop watching anrab goswami please. first, that F 16 crashed in march while practicing for the air show(you can find the videos). secondly, if abhinandan did shoot down an F 16, he must have used one of the four missiles he was carrying ya he used his pistol to shoot it down? unlike India, we showed the footage of missile hitting their designated targets. showed the world the all intact missiles of Abhinandans MIG and except for india, now one acknowleged the downing of an F 6. but india hasnt shown any footage of the so called balakot strike or did it? only few trees and one crow was eliminated. if that is success criteria for the indian airforce then kia he baat hai

Our IACCS and Phalcon Awacs had confirmed the shot down, even the radar outputs are public and people can search for it. On the other hand, till today, I had not seen any such outputs from pakistani side to counter our radar outputs which tells the complete story. the only that is really confirmed is that India's MIG was brought down, abhinandan was was treated as a rag doll by the locals till the army rescued him and gave him a fantastic tea. then not sure what was that helicopter doing in a how zone, maybe they were bored n went for a site seeing trip or they were recovering the pilots of the downed SU 30

Regrettably, in an attempt to appease public sentiment, he was erroneously credited with downing a PAF F-16, a claim that lacks substantiation. It's only a matter of time before the truth surfaces within the IAF and India.
I also wish to pay tribute to the two pilots who tragically lost their lives in the downing of an SU-30 MKI. The sacrifices of soldiers and their families must be duly recognized, irrespective of the outcome of a conflict. Unfortunately, in this instance, political considerations overshadowed their valor and contribution to the nation's defense.
Regarding the IAF's operational readiness, it's disheartening to learn that gaps still exist, as revealed in your V-Logs. For an air force of such stature, this is far from satisfactory. There shouldn't be a need for incidents like Operation Swift Retort to prompt introspection and improvement.
Furthermore, the fixation on comparing the IAF with the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is misguided. Instead, your focus should be on addressing the more pressing threat posed by China. An objective analysis of operations such as 'Marg Bar Samachar' would provide valuable insights for strategic planning and preparedness for IAF.
In terms of reporting and analysis, there's a glaring need for objectivity. Many content creators prioritize sensationalism over factual accuracy, which is detrimental to their national interests on either side of the border. I commend individuals like the editor of Force Magazine, Mr. Parven Suwhaney, for their commitment to unbiased reporting, focusing on genuine threats to his nation.
In conclusion, the priority should be given to the nation's security over commercial interests and political narratives. Objective analysis and recognition of sacrifices are essential for strengthening your defense capabilities and safeguarding your sovereignty.

The biggest mistake was keeping the wrong Sqdn deployed. It would be much better, if the Sqdn of MiG-29, Sqdn 28, 47 or 29 had been deployed. It would have given a tactical edge, against fighting a platform like the F-16, which is of equivalent generation.

Mig 29 is not enough to take on F 16 especially F 16 equipped with 105km AIM 120C5 while mig 29 uses older R 77 AV with maximum range of 80km
