Thank you for showing us which sale models are available. I appreciate that you suggested which ones for some machines too.
Thank you Tom you got me interested in buying an espresso machine so I got the Delonghi Dedica EC885 and the bottomless Porter filter and a couple of baskets off of links that I got from your website. I've been into Brewing specialty coffees on a V60 a Chemex a French press and an Aeropress for the past 5 years and I just subscribed to your channel a couple of days ago
@@Richard-Seekingwulf awesome Richard, glad to have you on board!
nice
I want the Yamaha receiver
I love Normcore accessories. I just got their newest multicolor wood grain tamper; it is so beautiful and substantial.
I got the Dedica Arte a few months ago for $160 and I love this compact workhorse.
De'Longhi Magnifica Start is £349 here in the UK, the Philips 5400 is £457 and the Breville/Sage Barista Express is £449.
All I care about is a good quality latte. Which would you get and thanks in advanced :)
Sage > Magnifica > 5400. That's my experience. Just know the Sage is a lot more work to get your drink.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner I don’t mind the extra work if it’s worth it, buying the Sage Batista express :)
Great job! Thank you, Tom!
Breville started their sale with Amazon about a week early with a "teaser", so it's not listed as a "Prime Day" deal, but is effectively that same. (and all of the other retailers had to price match immediately) The Barista Express Impress is great at $749, but the Barista Express at $549 is a steal. For $200 I can tamp my own coffee :) Amazon has the black and silver model, though, which does look great, IMO. (everyone else - just the silver)
Now if only they would price the Dual Boiler model at something remotely reasonable...
Thank you for all the information, Tom. What are your thoughts on the PHILIPS Barista Brew Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine? It looks like is on sale as well. Thanks in advance.
I saw that...hard to say since I have never tried it. But I'd honestly go for a brand established in portafilter espresso if you can.
Hello, how many grams of coffee made in the ims DL2TH26E basket of your Delonghi? Thanks
16 grams of med-dark roast. Cheers!
Very serious question… I bought the magnifica smart.. but I’m thinking of returning it for the Gaggia anima ….i need people’s thoughts..I’m a Novice
Gaggia Anima uses the same brew group as the Philips 3200, which I am not a fan of. Pucks are too small. I'd stick with the Delonghi. Cheers!
@@TomsCoffeeCorner thanks for the reply brother. The magnifica is a great starter machine. No pun intended until I get something better down the line.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner what machine is better than the smart but not that more expensive
Love your channel!! I bought a Z10 - and returning it (not worth it and taste was just ok). Can you make a suggestion? I am willing to go get a Breville Oracle Touch (do you think it's the best for the price - prime day), or something else if you think there is something smarter. (I have no accessories or grinder). Thanks!
@@JesseProwisor Well, I have to be honest. I have not tried the Oracle yet. But it’s the top-of-the-line Breville, and it will certainly make better drinks than the Z10. Cheers!
Is the 3200 lattego or the magnifica start better for someone who makes primarily milk drinks? They’re currently the same cost.
@@matthewoakley4734 Magnifica makes better drinks all around in my opinion.
Which model would you recommend for budget of ~$150?
ECP3420, for shizzle.
Hibrew h10a also on sale
The Fellow Opus grinder is on sale.
Thanks for that!
Hi quick question do you know where i can buy bottomless portafilter for DeLonghi la specjalista?
Love the video's ❤

@@TomsCoffeeCorner thank you so much
Picked up a Kingrinder K6 for 72€ today.
@@VistasdelMar2008 nice deal!
I was banking on the Bambino plus being there. But unfortunately it didn't make it!
@@zachhenning3614 I know, same for the new Dedica 😢
Which one would you recommend if they are in similar price? eletta explore, new dinamica plus or rivelia?
Thanks from Spain.
Well, if they are all the same price, you might as well get the one that has the highest value, which is the Eletta Explore.
Thanks!! I was in doubt cose the rivelia is 740 euros, while the new dinamica plus (24 drinks) is 730 euros. the eletta is more expensive but it can make cold brew...
I wonder why the rivelia is almost the same price than the new dinamica plus. I thought it was a superior model...
@@Assamita01 It’s only because it’s a newly released machine. I’m sure they need to amortize their production and design costs.
Ohhh I see. Then the Rivelia is a great deal right now. Or the eletta if willing to expend a bit more. Thanks! @@TomsCoffeeCorner
How much for the Yamaha Receiver? 😎
Lol. About $200, typically. It's not the higher-end CA series that everyone collects, but it's about the same inside. Of note is that typically that's $200-$600 plus another $150-200 to overhaul it and get it working as good as new ( replacing some capacitors and pots and so on ). Owning vintage gear is awesome, but it's also like a vintage car - a little DIY and upkeep is usually needed as most are similar to "barn finds". :)
Sorry, nerding out here on hi-fi gear. Back to Espresso... :)
I think I bought it for about $50. Sometimes the pots are a little crackly, but it's not bad. And I just like how it looks. I think the older Marantz look even nicer. 🙂
No manyal machine for sale?
Sure, there's a few. Check the video description for the links. Cheers!
Sorry but normcore products are low quality. I washed my parts in soap water, the coating disappeared and colour is now completely off…
Which item was that?
Hi Tom, I find DeLonghi la especialista EC9155 for 503 dollars, do you think is worth it? Or should I invest more in a breville? It’s for my every morning cappuccino
He did a review of both, IIRC, and each has pros and cons. For me, the Breville wins because of the construction, and better steaming. I'd get it for the small price increase.
I think the Breville is a fair bit higher quality, honestly. And it's just $50 more.
@@TomsCoffeeCorner in Mexico the difference is almost 400 dollars, but I will wait and buy it, thank you
