You know how when we were kids we would much appreciate a hand made gifts? We could value the Hand and Soul made SO MUCH. You know what, the special magical gift of being in tune with nature is that we can keep on appreciating the Hand and Soul gifts we come across, and made some ourselves. Create them most beautiful gifts, ones that you wrap and say “yes this is so perfect”. This is my favorite kind of gifts, so delightful. Gifting services? Wow that sounds amazing. So many good ideas, thank you for sharing!
So true!!! As a kid my favourite gift and what I would ask for was a jar of homemade plum compote 😅 (well, for full disclosure, I probably also asked for alllll the toys that everyone else had) but now as an adult, homemade and handcrafted gifts are my absolute favourite. they always feel so special and thoughtful ❣️
I still have many handmade gifts I received as a young girl. At 70 they have been we'll loved. Now that most of those special have crossed over, they provide sweet memories. 🌺🎄🌺
We should all be gifting from our hearts, not our bank accounts! Terrific ideas, many of which (witch☆) I have been doing for years. I'm always collecting scraps of paper and packaging for making cards, tags, and decorating jars of goodies; even things like cardboard tea boxes, tissues, or beauty product packing often have beautiful colours or patterns that I cut out and use to basically fashion/scrapbook cards and such. One year, I took my stepdaughter on a nature walk around the neighborhood and we collected rocks and tiny pinecones, which she then decorated and gave to the grandparents and some of her little friends. I've also snipped ivy from the garden and put a sprig in repurposed glass jars. It feels more gratifying for me to put in the work and thought of crafting rather than just roaming through aisles of merchandise that 1) doesn't excite me, 2) probably won't excite the receiver ,for long, and 3) is much less personal and unique. And, it's so much more stimulating, more productive even, to use your imagination and resources in crafting as opposed to wandering through every store or scrolling through endless online options, especially when you feel that pressure to Give Something...not that I'm opposed to shopping! It can be fun, and sometimes you find an absolutely amazing gift that just has to be had. I do think too many people forget that they have the creativity within themselves to craft something great for someone, so the default becomes "holiday shoppping" as an "easy out." It's not much of a holiday for me if I'm worried about buying a perfect gift, making sure gifts are evenly distributed, and trying to hit up the shoppes and sites before the "deals" are gone or the day has come. Peace and Prosperity for all in the New Year 💚
Absolutely everything you wrote resonates sooooo much with me. Absolutely agree!! And I feel the same about holiday shopping - I can just never find anything that really excites me to give away. So lovely that you also inspired your stepdaughter - that is wonderful ❤️ sending much love, thank you for sharing and have a beautiful holiday period 🌲✨
I usually make each household a batch of as-close-to-from-scratch-as-I-can-get cookies, vegan, diabetic-friendly, and/or gluten free as appropriate with a big bag of oranges to go with each batch. I haven't been able to do anything for anyone this year as we're learning the seasonal rhythms of our place and how we as a household operate, and several family members have asked me for recipes, ingredient lists, how many households to bake for, etc. Me doing that started as me being able to give people something that I can afford, and it just kind of grew into it's own thing. Every single member of my family have such big hearts and I feel like an ass for not doing what I usually do, so I offered to have kids over for a week straight once per household at any point during the coming year their parents might need/want me to. I'm swiping all of these ideas for the future, though. :) Edit: typo

Your dog reminds me of a dog I used to hang out with in a Pet Shelter when I was a young kid, she was called Carmel and she was a great spirit. this made me smile. Give the doggy a scratchy scracth and tell them they’re such a good pup.

That sounds like an amazing gift!!❤️ I had actually mentioned gift baskets with homemade gifts in this video but then cut it out because it got too long 😄 it is my favourite thing to give or receive
I always love how you decorate the surroundings when you film cooking or crafting scenes!! It looks so extremely cozy and aesthetically pleasing 😍 thank you for the great ideas Bex!
I usually try to make it cozy when I cook regardless of filming or not, but when filming those weird angles with stuff so close I have for sure already broken 5 plates and bowls 😅
This is my first year of having a friend to give a witchy gift too!! It's super exciting to figure out what might fits their practice best! I decided to make some witchy sculptures made out of clay and painted them 😊🙏

How would I find out about witch retreats near me?
I'd try and Google or if you have teaching spaces or stores related to witchcraft near you, you could ask there. Or of course, you treat yourself to a trip to Germany and come to one of my retreats hihi
How bad did the nail burn?

Plz share a spell for my alcoholic husband.
So sorry to hear he and you are struggling with this ❤️ unfortunately a spell won't do much. Getting professional help is the only way. Sending love and good luck ✨
