    Dang! That textured paint is 💯.

    Great job on the bumper installation and fitting the sway bar cover to it. The textured paint looks really good on it and matches the bumper well. Waiting to see what's next.

    As always a great job. You are a very patient person. It’s nice to have the skill and tools to weld especially when working on an older TJ! Looking forward to the next video. Thanks.

    Awesome!! Good job! Love that you show all the “boring” stuff that needs to be done, all the detail and effort you put in to do it thoroughly!! Most other videos just cut to the chase, and makes you think it’s a 15 minute craft... Well done sir! Greetings from Sweden

      Thanks Jonathan! That means a lot. I always wanted to go to Sweden by the way! Beautiful country

    Everytime I watch one of your videos the term "Labor of love" comes to mind. Pride in your work shows. Highly impressed.

    Great video! The effort it took to get that bumper off makes me think I’ll never get the tow adapter off my bumper.

      Everything on my jeep was a job. I replaced the rear cross member and thought I would never get done. It was a special situation though. Previous owner did some stuff that is hard to undo! Thanks Ed!

    Great video. I am doing almost the same bumper upgrade for my 2006 TJ Rubicon - an old tube bumper to a mid size for a winch install, and I have been going crazy trying to figure out why there is a piece installed right beneath the bumper that interferes with this. After watching your video and the excellent way you filmed it, I can now see that this piece is a leftover from something that had been installed previously before I owned it, and I can go ahead and uninstall it and leave it off. Also, I have really rusted stuck torque bolts like you did and have put in penetrating oil, but they are still frozen. I bought a torch to heat it, but have not done it before, so I appreciated seeing your technique. I feel a lot more confident about what I need to do now. Thanks for the detailed video!

      After some more research, I discovered that that part was a base plate for flat towing behind an RV, something the previous owner must have done. Easily removed, and not something I plan to use.

    Nice bumper, and the trim piece turned out great. I need to get a new bumper for mine 97. The guy that owned it before. Was like the ones that had yours. Did a lot of stupid stuff, but not as bad as yours was. I have a Superwinch on mine. And going to power coat my D-Rings on front. Where and what brand plastic paint have you used on the inside?

      Thanks Pete! www.summitracing.com/parts/smm-15243. You can find it cheaper I think.

    Enjoyed the video. Thanks for posting it. I'm considering buying the same bumper. Can you tell me if the EAG logo is removable? You mentioned tightening it, would there just be a couple bolt holes if it can be removed?

    • @ForceBuilt
      @ForceBuilt  3 роки тому

      Totally removable. I thought about removing mine an making a custom Force Built logo. I do love the bumper BTW. Good luck Kristi!

    Although it has given you more work than expected,it has been perfect and it looks very nice. I think that a winch would be great. I don't know if you plan to paint the chrome headlight rings in satin black ,I did it in my Jeep and I love the result.
    Really good job and see you next week. Take care yourself and thanks for sharing.

    I was really rooting for you for not having any issues with the front bumper, but....yeah...just all the other little things that the previous owner did had me face palming and laughing out loud. Does your patience ever run out? Do you cuss those fools after the camera stops rolling? Are you sorry for buying this Jeep, lol?

    • @ForceBuilt
      @ForceBuilt  4 роки тому +1

      HAHA Tim, Just another day with JJ. My patience is pretty solid I would say. I have gotten aggravated at the previous owner but Cursing isn't part of my vocabulary. I believe the words I have used would be words like Morons and such LOL. Thanks for watching!!!
