- I wanted to change up the front on the Jeep and this Barnes 4WD front bumper did exactly what I wanted! This is their Jeep Wrangler TJ Stubby Front Bumper with Stinger. It looks so good and I think it fits this build so well! Barnes has unbelievable craftsmanship and I have some more stuff coming from them that I cannot wait to show! Hope you guys enjoy the video and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 🥱
Nobody is making you watch lol.
This is an issue I have been trying to sort out and the post was right on point for me. Maybe you will find the next one more responsive to your goals.
I think the bumper looks great. It goes right along with everything else you guys are doing on this build. I love how every detail of this rig is going to be top notch. It's going to be one of the best builds around, point blank period, when you get done, in my opinion. Looking for to seeing what's next!
Thank you very much Mark! That means a lot! I appreciate your support✊🏼.
Definitely the better looking bumper
Agreed! Appreciate it!
The barns bumper looks alote better on the jeep.i love how the build is coming along.
Thank you!! I appreciate that.
Bumper looks amazing! Can't wait to see it all finished!
Appreciate it! We’re getting there , I can’t wait either!
I was looking at this bumper last night on their website trying to find a video or review, and then all of a sudden boom;) it’s like Christmas! Love the videos!
Oh no way, that’s funny! I appreciate that! It’s honestly a great bumper, especially for the price!
Looks dope bro can’t wait for the lights!!
Thank you!! And I know me too!
Great choice! That stubby bumper looks way better with your built. Keep up the great job!
Thank you!! I agree!
Looks much better. can't wait to see the whole thing done
I agree! Thank you!
Paint looks awesome, laid down nice and smooth...
Respirators WooHoo 😁
Haha yes! Finally respirators!
Good shit I’m loving this build keep it up
Thank you!!
Looking great!
Thank you!!
Looks great! 🤘🏻
Thank you!!
That looks awesome. You're right it does look better than your previous bumper. I like the poison spider as well, but this one looks like it was made for it. I have a similar bumper on my JK
Thank you! yes for sure, the poison spyder bumper was great but this new Barnes bumper definitely fits the build better.
Looks great.
Thank you!
Bumper looks awesome! Really wish my local area didn't require full width bumpers!
Thank you!! Ah that’s not fun. Where at? I’m not sure if that’s a law here in Maryland but I’ve never had an issue!
You are correct the stinger looks wierd because a vehicle as long as the Krute wouldn't need a stinger like a short wheel base TJ
Definitely!
Looks good. I want to switch to stubby bumpers on both my TJs and just have not found what I want. This may be my answer. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome, thank you! They make some great stuff. Great company to work with!
Running the same set up, can you run d rings? Can’t get mine to fit due to the fairlead. Lucky I have soft shackles
The fairlead is in the way on mine as well. I run soft shackles so it isn't an issue.
Bumpers are where I’m stuck. I can’t make a decision. Mid or stubby. Hahahahaha. Think I’ll just keep saving for a really good one that’s not on a lot of jks
Haha it’s a tough choice for sure! I think it can definitely change the entire look of a Jeep! Barnes does make a cool one for JKs that my Dad just bought. Don’t really see it too often.
@@BuiltDifferentGarage maybe you can show it on a video… if possible. I’ll look on barns now and see what they got. I’m still not sure what to go with. Aluminum or steel? I know aluminum is more expensive but the weight is my concern not the price. Buy once cry once right? Lol
@@TheDon8771 for sure, will do! And yeah if you’re not concern with money then go aluminum! Much better for weight saving. Definitely buy once cry once😂
@@BuiltDifferentGarage well. I just ordered a wilco mc2x aluminum front bumper. Thanks for the push to finally make a decision. Not cheap. But it is not on many jks. Can’t wait to get it. I might have to start Instagram to show you my build. Nothing like what you’re doing , but you helped push me to my last big mod. I appreciate you and your dad for what you do, and lighting that fire under my rear to go this route. I can’t wait to see your build when it’s done
@@TheDon8771 dude hell yeah!! I just looked that up because I had never heard of it! That is one sweet bumper, I’ll definitely have to see what else they have. I’d love to see your build, that would be cool! I appreciate the support, my dad and I love this industry. Anything we can do to help others, we’re here!
Do you still use the Torx bolts from the factory bumper? And if so what adapter do you use on your impact gun?
I did but they’ve been replaced with Grade 8 now. We have torx bits that have a socket attachment on it.
Any chance you can throw a link to the paint in the description? Getting ready paint my bumper and I want to check their color options. Looking good!
Yes! Will do👍🏼
Great TJ Brute and even better when father and son work together creating perhaps the best Jeep ever made, if not certainly among them for sure. I'm definitely partial to the CJ-7, TJ and LJ but this rig is flat out better.

'41 - '06
Wow! Thank you very very much! I really appreciate that! 🤟🏼🤟🏼 love the ‘41-‘06 too
@@BuiltDifferentGarage This is essentially the CJ-8 Scrambler. If not for the leaf springs, I think most Jeepers would be saying the CJ-8 is the best Jeep ever made and not the LJ. Too bad Jeep didn't bring back the Scrambler, instead they went with the Gladiator. It's ok but it's certainly not the CJ-8.
@@JeepTJWheelin I agree!! A Scrambler is a dream build of ours! We would love to be able to pick one up for a decent price haha. I’d say the TJ and LJ are the last of an amazing Jeep era.

It was a good run but at least we have thousands of real '41 - '06 around to maintain, restore and build.
heep '07 - present 😝
@@JeepTJWheelin you got that right!! Haha love it!
Nice ⚡️🔥 , how much you want for the poison spyder bumper ??
Thanks! I’m not sure, I haven’t decided what I’m doing with it yet. May save it for another TJ build. We’ll see!
Another TJ built! 😃😃
This bumper is much better. It compliments the built.
Thank you! I agree, definitely looks better!
How long did it take for you to get that bumper? Barnes site says “out of stock, made to order. “
I bought it when they had them in stock and it came really quick. I live in MD and Barnes is out of NC so it’s not a long ways away. Maybe 3 days and I got it.
A lot better than the stinger
Agreed!
@@BuiltDifferentGarage
Keep it up, love watching y'all convert and fabricate. Looking forward to seeing a finished product.
@@davidwells3662 we appreciate the support!! Thank you!
send me your old bumper.
Where are you located?
Washington state way to far probably

@@MYWAYINTHEDRIVEWAY I can check the shipping but it would probably just be worth buying it new haha.
yeah thats what I was thinking
I would have just cut up the current bumper and modded it to what I wanted. The new one is so minimal and a total downgrade!
Of course, that was an option. Did I want to do that, no. I respect your opinion! I love it and that’s all that matters! Thanks🤟🏼
