The 10 people who gave this video of Def Leppard a thumbs down, obviously doesn't know ANYTHING about good rock and roll music. With over a hundred million records sold world wide, 2 diamond awards(meaning selling over 10million records per album or more each). Selling out Arenas world wide, you don't know a thing about good music. I have seen these guys 14 times. Each time feels like the very first time. They'll blow you away and knock your socks off. Everybody singing along, chanting def leppard def leppard! oncors galore! Congratulations Def Leppard! Your fans spoke and they listened. 2019 Rock and roll hall of fame!

Read a comment by joe elliot that the scarf on his mic stand belonged to Steve Clark which he wore during the hysteria tour and is often seen in the live videos. It’s awesome that at the end of Photograph he points up to the large screen that has Steve’s photo on it and then hold its it up high as to say “here’s to you my friend”.
Steve is the main writer to that song and that song is what made Def Leppard really on top in 1983 , I should know as I lived it. Been a Lep fan since high n dry my first cassette tape was pyromania and my first cd was hysteria.

I bought it in August 87. I hated it then and still do. Ballsless electronic music. This once brilliant band turned into a pile of shit before my very young ears. Even Pyromania was stretching it with the phony background vocals. Pete Willis was the true rocker of this band who was inspired by 70s bands like AC/DC ,UFO and Thin Lizzy. Joe loved glam rock and Steve was into dance music. Hence,we get a 'steamin' pile of shit that is Hysteria.

Had the pleasure of FINALLY seeing these guys live in Vegas last year with Journey. Journey did the first part and were good, but THESE guys were AMAZING! So much energy, such great harmonies, and damn can Joe still sing. I don't think they changed the keys of any of the songs. He was still belting it out and in my opinion sounds as good now as he does on the albums. The harmonies were tight and everyone was on! So glad they are finally in the Hall of Fame. Your ears might need to be checked if you think Joe has sounded live anything like the pyromania album in the last 25 years. They are doing a semi decent job of hiding his blown out voice behind a lot of effects. Just watch any live video from the hysteria tour if you actually want to hear him in his prime...after your ear wax is cleaned and/or hearing aids fitted of course.

Steve Clark is definitely looking down on his other four band members. He is the pure white skinned angel with blonde colored hair there on his head. He's just smiling, smiling at them, I'm sure that he's probably proud of their accomplishment, achievements that they have made of their careers . P.S.Please do edited this column here for me. Thanks!

It is weird there's one guy that doesn't wear his shirt. The last few years. I love DL but that's kind fucked up.
It reminds me of when the Red Hot Chili Peppers played naked but just with a sock on their dicks.
They should've just let Flea play naked with the sock on his dick for the rest of the bands career.
      That would've been classic.

Is it just me or are the vocals too loud for the rest of the music? Can't really hear anything but Joe's vocals, Rick's drums and the occasional guitar riff trying to cut through the mix when Joe is singing. Seems like guitars and bass are turned up to a 7 or 8, drums are a 9 and vocals are up to a "Spinal Tap"-like 11...
Well, still good to see these guys going. Yeah, Joe's vocals aren't what they used to be but, when you have spent decades singing, screaming and shouting for a living, it's gonna take a toll on your voice at some point. At least he can still sing most of these songs at the same original key they were recorded at decades ago.
Many bands from that era that still perform can't play most if not all of their songs unless it's in a horribly lower key cause their singers just can't reach even mid-range notes, much less high range ones. Good to see that Joe can still sing them (sure, not with the same power) withing a reasonable degree of original range.

I watched it on HBO last night and on the Verses for every song except Hysteria and most of Sugar he had no midrange growl or bite in his voice . Would have loved to see him try Let It Go or Foolin , To Late For Love . I love them but with Joe as the singer its gonna be over very soon which trust me I am not happy about !! Okay we get it they didn't make high and dry for 40 years straight but how many times do I have to scroll video after video song after song and read how they fucking sold out again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again. Do you want to dig Steve Clark up from the grave and see if he can still play. I'm sorry but some bands just can't stay the same for the entire career. I'm so fucken tired of metal elitist coming in here and never give any credit to the other members of the band it's always Steve this and Steve that. I don't mean to sound harsh about Steve but he didn't do everything, sav wrote the main riff of Hysteria and he's the fucking bass player. I'm sorry to go off on a rant but it had to be said. And if anybody else doesn't like what I said, you can kiss my ass too. Rock on everyone.
