Read a comment by joe elliot that the scarf on his mic stand belonged to Steve Clark which he wore during the hysteria tour and is often seen in the live videos. It’s awesome that at the end of Photograph he points up to the large screen that has Steve’s photo on it and then hold its it up high as to say “here’s to you my friend”. Steve is the main writer to that song and that song is what made Def Leppard really on top in 1983 , I should know as I lived it. or the song that broke them in USA "BRINGING ON THE HEARTBREAK" I think Joe can't stand Pete Willis, even though it was PETE'S BAND! I prefer all the music/albums Pete helped to write...On through the night to Hysteria" I didn't go to anymore of there concerts after Steve Died, IMO the passion of the band was gone.Steve and Pete made the band imho.
Is it just me or are the vocals too loud for the rest of the music? Can't really hear anything but Joe's vocals, Rick's drums and the occasional guitar riff trying to cut through the mix when Joe is singing. Seems like guitars and bass are turned up to a 7 or 8, drums are a 9 and vocals are up to a "Spinal Tap"-like 11... Well, still good to see these guys going. Yeah, Joe's vocals aren't what they used to be but, when you have spent decades singing, screaming and shouting for a living, it's gonna take a toll on your voice at some point. At least he can still sing most of these songs at the same original key they were recorded at decades ago. Many bands from that era that still perform can't play most if not all of their songs unless it's in a horribly lower key cause their singers just can't reach even mid-range notes, much less high range ones. Good to see that Joe can still sing them (sure, not with the same power) withing a reasonable degree of original range.
River Of Blacklights Not the time or place to be pointing out negatives! This is a CELEBRATION of their phenomenal talent and success! We should all be focusing solely on the incredible contribution this band has made to rock and roll AND our lives!!!

I'm very Happy they are in , they are over due by a Decade at least . But for all you super fans please face facts Joe Elliott cannot come close to his original vocals . Someone cleaned this up . You want me to cuss your ass out you got it. If you don't like what they've been doing for the last 25 years then what the fuck are you doing here? Okay we get it they didn't make high and dry for 40 years straight but how many times do I have to scroll video after video song after song and read how they fucking sold out again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again. Do you want to dig Steve Clark up from the grave and see if he can still play. I'm sorry but some bands just can't stay the same for the entire career. I'm so fucken tired of metal elitist coming in here and never give any credit to the other members of the band it's always Steve this and Steve that. I don't mean to sound harsh about Steve but he didn't do everything, sav wrote the main riff of Hysteria and he's the fucking bass player. I'm sorry to go off on a rant but it had to be said. Would have been great if they would have pulled out a little lady strange
or the song that broke them in USA "BRINGING ON THE HEARTBREAK" I think Joe can't stand Pete Willis, even though it was PETE'S BAND! I prefer all the music/albums Pete helped to write...On through the night to Hysteria" I didn't go to anymore of there concerts after Steve Died, IMO the passion of the band was gone.Steve and Pete made the band imho.
To hell with the bullshit ads already ..
Bit crap quality or what?
Performing to corporate people in suits.
Their peers?? No, they are not.
vocals too loud
Its Barclays Its lousy venue
I don't like what Phil is playing on ''Hysteria'' in the verses.
Really? Oh, well, they call that a guitar. A very versatile instrument. I hear they tried to get him to play an accordian, but he wasn't too keen.
HAHA. Not the instrument, those phrases played on the guitar, it doesn't seem to suit the verses for me.
@@satchfan2010 lol. I assume you are a player?
Yes, I am.
@@satchfan2010 Right on, just asking as I am also assuming your name is a nod to Joe. i play a bit myself as a hobby. I suck, but I have fun playing. I do know what you mean about the phrases Phil was playing. Have a great day.
Bad sound.
Yes. The sound was horrendous the whole night. It is every year I go. The presenters mics were so low you couldn't hear the presenter speak. At least this year the presenters mics were mouth level. 3 years ago each presenter had to lean down to reach the mic.
You'd think they could have figured it out by now.
@@rockvideophotographer6054 I still liked it and appreciate you doing this!! I don't have HBO so I won't be able to see their version. So again thank you!!
Lets see Next Rock hall of Fame inducted should be in 2020 , Styx , Foreigner , Uraiah heep, from England , Carl Palmer the only survivor from ELP also England and Jethro Tull with Ian Anderson not Janet Jackson please i dont understand this people votes .
It takes a lot of string pulling and knowing people in the industry even to be considered.
Thin Lizzy too!
Ffs any song off the first 3 albums would have been better than Pour Some Sugar on Me! I have always hated that fucking song!
I'm very Happy they are in , they are over due by a Decade at least . But for all you super fans please face facts Joe Elliott cannot come close to his original vocals . Someone cleaned this up . I watched it on HBO last night and on the Verses for every song except Hysteria and most of Sugar he had no midrange growl or bite in his voice . Would have loved to see him try Let It Go or Foolin , To Late For Love . I love them but with Joe as the singer its gonna be over very soon which trust me I am not happy about !! Flame and Cuss me all you want its all right there to see & hear . Heard they were caught doubling to a click track in their in ear monitors . Google it your not a Musician of some sort .... 8(
LOGAN - 5 What??? You “heard”... Care to post a link to such an unbelievable story?
No , look it up for yourself lazy fuck !! Or be in Denial I dont care one way or the other Troll ...
And if anybody else doesn't like what I said, you can kiss my ass too. Rock on everyone.
why does phil butcher the solos that he didnt write
Considering he wrote all those solos he played... You know that right?
What the fuck are you talking about? He literally wrote every single solo he played in this video.
@@frasiercraine1776 Steve Clark wrote the solo to Hysteria. Him and Phil played it together on the album.
Great performance but boring as hell
